That means that number 3 cylinder is misfiring.I would start with replacing the sparkplugs and sparkplug wires first if they have not been changed in the last 50,000 miles or so.If that does not help then you will need to check the # 3 injector for pulse.

Remove door panel,unplug mirror wiring and remove nuts that hold on mirror.

Could be a problem with the wiring for the injector or the coil.Or even the crank sensor.The computer "sees" the drop in RPM to peg a cylinder for a miss.Do you think the miss is really there ?

I would think you found the low pressure port by now? But just in case most Dodge trucks I have seen have the low pressure port just above the compressor on the suction line. Of coarse leave it to Dodge to move it on some applications? Good Luck !

Had the same issue on my 2003 2500. Turned out to be the fuel control actuator on the back of thr cp3 injection pump. Buy from Genosgarage.com for about $100. dealer wants double that for the exact same Bosch part. Removes with three torx screws after you remove wire connector.

Pressure testing takes special equipment. You are better off at the dealer.
