what about injectors

If you buy a Haynes manual, you should be able to find how to line up your timing gears or go to auto zone and ask them if they can print how to remove and install timing chaing or belt, they help me with a 2001 alero, good luck and god bless you..

These went bad very often but sometimes maybe someone pushed the mirror in by hand putting the complete thread gear in a bind causing to many amps to trying to move the mirror sometimes readjusting the mirror in the opposite directions all 4 by hand pulling slightly on each direction frees up the bind but not always in most cases the motor is damaged during this. But its worth a try.

check the plug,wire,coil,injector for that cylinder #2,compression also,you should check for possible intake gasket leak at that area as well.just some things to check

could be fuel elated, there are two fuel pumps, the high pressure pump to feed the injector system and the lift pump to get fuel from tank to the high pressure pump. Check fuel filter also and start there. The fuel pumps are expensive. What have you checked so far and eliminated?

Try holding gas pedal to the floor before turning the key then flutter pedal while cranking run fuel line cleaner or octane boost through your tank. If your tank is 35 gallons you will need 2 cans to do any good. This will help to remove moisture from condensation from your fuel system. Also will help to reduce carbon build up in your exhaust. This is a common 5.9 and 5.2 V-8 problem

Its not very easy procedure,m but with right procedure and diagram, it can be replaced.The belt needs to be removed and then the power steering pump can be out.------

do you have to put diesel fuel in the filter

loosen one fuel line to one of the injectors, try to start the truck and look for the fuel to spray out of the line. it should spray rather hard if the injector pump is working right. if it just dribbles or trickles out you have a weak pump.

I would check several things. First I would check the electrical connection at the headlight itself. Ensure that none of the wires are loose. I would also check the light bulb socket and ensure there is no corrosion and that you have a good connection there too.

Verify first the scanner used if it was for an OBDII scanner. Other than an a possible incorrect scanner is it is time for a scheduled maintenance or a fluke in the system. See if resetting the ECU helps. You can do that by unplugging the negative terminal of the battery for around 2 minutes.
