86 Dodge W150 5.9L problems(2)
i have a '86 dodge ram w/318 - got it for free , only running on 4 out of 8. rebuilt carb (holley 2280 2 barrel ) still has no power but sounds like it's hitting on all 8. found on web a "power heat valve"between the passenger side exhaust manifold and the down pipe. it's in the haynes manual page 4a-22 illustration16.1 - i can't imagine what it should do when it's working (why choke off half your exhaust-ever) but i am going to check that out.have to get by a lot of rust first. good luck!

How do you remove the rotors from a 1986 Dodge W150
Yes you have to remove the entire hub assembly. You will need a special socket to remove the nut that holds the bearings in place. Then, once everything is out of the hub all you have to do is pound the studs out and then the hub and rotor should come apart. If not carefully tap on the rotor to break it apart from the hub they often like to stick together. I recommend repacking your wheel bearings with fresh grease while you have the whole hub apart. Also when putting everything back together you will need to purchase new grease seals. These are available at Napa for a decent price.

Belt driven components bracket installation diagram
If your going to go to all the trouble to replace your water pump, I'd suggest you buy a Hayne's manual for your car.
It'll cost you about 25$, but it has all the things you will ever need to fix your car including serpentine belt diagrams, and the related mounting hardware.
In lieu of that, I'd call a Dodge dealer and ask what they would recommend.
I gotta' admit, I'm always surprised that more of that kind of information isn't accessible online.

Does anyone have the wiring diagram to a\n 86'
Check out faxonautoliterature. They carry genuine dealer service manuals and they list one for your truck. It will have wiring diagrams in it. I have used them before and found their service to be excellent. Hope this helps.

Location of oxygen sensor
The only thing that comes out of the exhaust with a wire coming from it, is the oxygen senser. It is right behind the manafold.

W150
Well, get fuel filter replaced and pump tested, that should have been one of your starting points.
