I have a 2002 Buick rondavuce put a newer motor in it won't start what should I do

Triple check your work. Where did the "newer" motor come from? There may be a compatibility problem with your Ecu and the motor. Did you change any wiring to make it connect? Do all connections have bright metal (scrape)? Do you have any "left over wire ends that you don't know where they go? Talk to other engine swappers. Maybe even online.

I have a 2002 buick rendezvous cxl and my fan was working just fine earlier and i have checked all the fuses and they are good what would be causing them not to kick on and cause it to over heat

The engine thermistat is located on the front of the engine, top side, but it tucked under, so it is hard to get at. You may need to replace the thermistat. Have a mechanic do it if you're not comfortable with it.

My 02 rendezvous wouldnt start, it would turn over but there was no fire, I changed the fuel filter, still no start, changed the fuel pump that I was told was bad still wont start, fuses have been che

Are you getting spark High voltage through the ignition system? how long since it has not run? Did you have the error codes read Are you Sure the Fuel pump is working? If working you should hear it make some sound when you turn the key on, but before you turn to start. If it doesn't make sound it probably is not gettind power. There is a device called Fuel pump relay that in many other cars gives a problem. I would try to bypass it temporarily to see if you get the new fuel pump to respond. If it does, most likely that is the problem. If it does not respond, then double check your connections.

If you can not retract it with a c-clamp or other method, the caliper may be seized - and require replacement.

What would cause the trunk button on a buick rendevous not to work

Most likely there is a fuse blown--OR the button switch solenoid is burnt out. check fuse panel first. If no fuse blown--find the 2 wires going into the trunk button solenoid. Temporarily remove a bit of insulation from both wires or if there are more than 2 wires--bare them all. Then take a small bare wire & QUICKLY touch from each one to the other to see if there's a spark--being ready to quickly remove it IF there's a spark. If there is a sparking--then the solenoid is likely gone. Recheck fuses to make sure you didn't blow the fuse by sparking the wires. If so, replace fuse & solenoid.

Why does my 2002 rendezvous not start if temp outside is below zero it cranks just wont run leave it until warmer end of day and starts right up.

Sounds like a bad temperature sensor to me. Temp sensors on newer cars tell the PCM to send more fuel on a cold start. If its malfunctioning then the PCM doesn't up the fuel. This fuel boost acts like the choke on an older vehicle

Service vehicle soon like comes on after 25 minutes of running then it locks out my radio and causes the security light to also come on. I've had it on 3 different scopes & was told the codes were

I don't know who told you that , a semi- clogged catalytic will cause a low power issue an maybe a couple of DTC'S diagnostic trouble codes P0420 - P0430 ,Has nothing to do with the alarm system ! Do you mean Service vehicle soon or SERVICE ENGINE SOON ? SERVICE VEHICLE SOON The IPC illuminates the SERVICE VEHICLE SOON indicator in the message center when the PCM or the BCM detects certain non-emissions related malfunctions. The IPC receives a class 2 message from the PCM or from the BCM requesting illumination. What problem are you having with alarm system ? If you have a starting issue it's the Anti-Theft system not alarm system . The alarm would go off if you vehicle was broke into . I don't know what shop you took it to but did you try a dealer ? How to Diagnose Codes P0420 P0430
