My 2002 Buick Rendezvous will not hold a charge. I think its the alternator because I've gone to Canadian Tire twice and charged the battery both times.

Hi Jonathan get the Altenator reconditioned or replaced. Regards Jim...

2002 Buick rendezvous air pump fuse good relay switched with known working one no power to air pump could a bad ignition switch cause the problem ? The key never gets removed.

If you are referring to the suspension air pump, it is automatic and will only operate if necessary to re-level the vehicle. If the vehicle is not leveling properly, check the level sensor at the rear axle for proper operation.

Did you check the air pump relay in the underhood fuse box ? The PCM energizes the relay turning on the air pump .

Why does the sunroof pop up, but won't slide open?

Try looking at the owner's manual. You can download/read it at: http://www.vadengmpp.com/owners-manual/buick/2002-Buick-Rendezvous.pdf Maybe the kid broke it. You could try a Buick dealer to have the problem evaluated.

Do I need a new Motor if i have this Loud Knocking that want never stop? or is it My lifter or My oil pump?

It could be a valve lifter. It also could be a rod bearing. In either case, replacing the whole engine is more drastic than you actually need to go. Replacing bearings can be done...

My Buick Rendezvous's battery keeps dying. Charged it, died again. The battery light keeps turning on then it dies. I don't know what to do, I really need this car. I dont know if its the alternator.

The Battery Light coming on usually indicates the charging system is not working. If you can limp it down to your local Auto Parts Store they will usually check your battery and charging system for free. Yes a fuse can cause charging system to malfunction - also there will be a Major Fuse/Fusable Link. If you have your owners manual there will be a section showing fuse locations and description. Let me know if and how this helps you thanks

Buick rendezvous rear window's drivers side defroster wire is disconnected. I don't know how to fix it. Even when I hold the wire to the connection point, it doesn't spark or defrost anything.

If the defroster isn't burned out, you need to resolder the wire to the defroster. Chance are when your just holding the wire to the connection you're not getting enough contact to operate it.

Why does gas light continue to constantly come on even when full in 02 Buick renedivous

If the gauge is reading full and the light is still on, that sounds like a body control module fault. I would take it to the dealer or other qualified service center for a better diagnostic.

Changed steering column n won't atrt

Where is the ignition switch at , on the steering column ? Did you transfer the theft deterrent control module from the old column to the new one ? Do you have any lights lit on the dash , SECURITY ? Your car has a anti-theft system , the key has a transponder pellet imbedded in the head of it . Behind the plastic cover of the steering column ,around the ignition lock cylinder is the theft deterrent control module an antenna ! The vehicle theft deterrent (VTD) system functions are provided by the theft deterrent control module. The VTD system prevents vehicle operation if a valid (learned) transponder PASS-Key?®III (PK3) ignition key is not used to start the vehicle. The theft deterrent control module has an exciter that is part of the theft deterrent control module as an assembly. The PK3 key has a transponder embedded in the plastic head of the key. The exciter is an antenna which is made up of wire coils which surround the ignition lock cylinder. The PCM enables the engines starter and fuel delivery system when it receives a valid (learned) password from the theft deterrent control module via the class 2 serial data circuit. The components of the VTD system are as follows:

I have a Buick Rendezvous and I was wondering if its possible to put and single-din stereo in this car. The cassette and cd stopped working and I would like to fix it or change it.

Yes it is possible to put a single din radio in this car. Simplest way is to go on Ebay and order a single din radio fill-in kit and a factory radio wiring plug adaptor for the vehicle. Make sure you order it for the exact year make and model to be sure you have the right installation setup.

In my buick rendezvous when I go to an automatic car wash, at the end with the blower, the roof pushes in. It does push all the way in, but does a bit.

Only thing I can suggest is that you stop going to the car wash because not only is it pushing the roof down but it is forcing water in somewhere and loosen up the glue that holds the fabric up

My battery was disconnected now that the battery is back connected I'm having a hard time getting my 2002 Buick rendezvous to stay started and I do have an alarm system

It's my understanding that on these cars if you disconnect the battery for an amount of time the car computer shuts down and all the memory is lost till you reinstall the battery again. Then it takes a while for the memory to come back. The engine will stall and not run properly till the computer completely resets itself. They say just drive it and eventually in a few miles it will just keep getting better . Hope it works for you.
