If this Century has the rocker style switch, replace it. Son had similar problem on his '93 Century. I replaced the switch and all is good.

buy a replacement power window regulator on eBay or at a local car parts store. take it and your car to a glass shop which does cars. stay away from the dealer. cost about a hundred for the regulator and about 60 for the labor. do not just buy the lift motor, get the whole regulator. do not try swapping the regulator yourself. stay away from car dealer service department.
