If the motor or track has something that causes a drag or interference, the motor will reverse as a safety feature. The motor would not know if the drag was a faulty track or a child's arm.You may have to pull the door panel and check the movement of the glass.

When its hot outside all the speakers in my 2002
Hi I am Vortash it sounds like when they expand in the heat the activator coils are clear of the magnets giving a good sound .. but when cold they contract touching the magnets and you get poor vibrating sound ,, ? the problem may be two fold .. spaekers not man enough to take ower from unit .. especially if you have replaced the unit as most cars are only fitted with 10watt 8ohm to 4 ohm speakers as standard , and some of the newer cd players start at 25 watts this will disstort the speakers and they need replacing .. if this is not the case and you only have a low powered system usual culprit is water seeping down windows onto speakers at night from damp or early morning dew .. wet speakers tend to disstort.. hope this helps regards vortash
2002 Nissan Pathfinder _ Electrical Problems
Unusual the dealer can't or won't find the problem. A mechanic would check everything in that circuit for shorts to ground. Was the fuse blowing before the alternator and battery were replaced ?Based on the wiring diagrams I would vote for a defective alternator. The 10 amp fuse number 8 powers the cluster which also goes to the alternator. If the alternator shorts out internally it would blow that number 8 fuse and take the cluster with it.The other circuits you mentioned are controlled by the key switch but are fused after the switch. So if the switch was causing the problem it should be blowing a 40amp fuse.I would probably take the alternator off and have someone else test it.
