REPLACING A OIL DIPSTICK TUBE
If the tube has just slipped out, you should be able to tap it back into place with a hammer. If you can't tap it easily, you may have to put a screwdriver or something in it to have something to tap on. If the tube has broken off, and some is still in the motor, it will have to go to a mechanic.

The speed control of your fan has resisters that are in the venting system to blow air on them to keep them cool. If they overheat and or burn you will lose your low and medium speeds of the fan. If you run the fan at full see if the smell goes away. Your engine could be burning oil on the outside of the engine block, make sure that the weatherstrip where your hood meets the fresh air intake grill is sealing tight.

How are your piston rings? do you see oil on the top of your pistons when you remove the spark plugs? could be a blow by issue if you notice your burning oil. also could be an EVAP system issue. see if you can find someone to scan your car for possible codes.
CODES P1610 AND P1612
I had both p1610 and p1612 codes pop up today on me when my car decided to just die. i did a lot of trouble shooting and it led me to removing the negative battery terminal which resets the system and bam, car started right up.
