No power to ignition switch
Often that is a sign of a bad connection between the battery and the starter, or a ground. You might try using a jumper to the starter post to verify the problem.

What is the torque specs for the rocker arms and
everything you need below. NOTE: Rocker arms arent under torque. um..... start it up again....or did you have a question?I'm not trying to be rude, or funny, but you just made a statement and didn't ask a question, nor did you say what may have gone on when trying to start it again.
1975 gmc. pulled distributor, now I cant get it
put the rotor on the dist and gently turn it while very slowly lowering the dist back in. You need to make EXTRA sure you don't drop that pump shaft into the block. I trust you have the engine cylinder #1 at TDC and are ready to slap it back together, but if you have more questions on that, let me know.
