I have a 2005 optra ls. my battery is dead so

try with the hand brake on and ignition, if no joy then you will not be able to bump start it, you can but will damage the gearbox and engine. easier to replace or charge the battery.

Regards
Dan

98 Chevy metro regular headlights don't work but high beams do, suggestions?

I have seen both low beam bulbs burn out at the same time. Its possible the relays have burnt out for the low beams.

Dash & rear lights out with fuse that keeps blowing when replaced

The radio should have a wire that connects to the dash lights to light up the face at night. I'm guessing that's shorted out

Fuel filter location

Depending on the year, it should be in the engine compartment or under the car. The filter is in the fuel line between the gas tank and the throttle body.

Can't put gas in

Sorry I am not sure on this but it might be a clogged evap filter which makes the tank pressure up when filling which shuts the pump off .. have him crawl under it and follow the fuel lines (2) forward till he finds a canister which might be where the filter is .. it has to be a vent problem .. some have a small vent tube which runs back up to the fillspout too.. have him look again and closer he will find the problem .. Thanks Jerry
