What is the year and model of vehicle? Does the window have (auto) up or down feature?

Your switch has either died, blew a fuse, or the window motor is stuck., Check the easiest one first. Pull the switch out and inspect if for broken wires or damage. Next check the fuses. if all good, pull the door panel off and try tapping of the window motor with a small hammer or metal bar. This will jar it loose from the "dead spot" much like a starter motor

try unplugging the battery to reset everything

My 03 trailblazer does the same thing and the service dept. told me that it was normal for this model to do that, it has never failed to stop but if your sitting at a red light you can feel the peddle go down to almost the floor but it stops fine and it has done this since day 1 and they say thats normal on the trailblazer.

Check inside wiring by the driver's side door hinge. Remove the rubber boot and you will find broken wires. Make a splice and you are fixed!

Check the wire harness between door and vehicle, good chance there is a few broken wires there. If that isnt the case check the fuses. If they are good take it to the dealer to see if it is the computers cause the problem

Check the switch first. Possibly corroded and sticking. May need to be replaced, but you could probably clean it with some electrical contact cleaner.

Try banging the door where the lock is. The vibration may pop is open, especially if there is something in the glovebox that is interfering with the latch.

It may be because of a bad fuse, so first replace the 20-Amp fuse located in the instrument panel fuse box. If that does not solve the problem, check for: 1. Broken switch connection 2. Broken switch 3. Broken or weak wiring 4. Broken circuit 5. Faulty heating pad If this sounds too overwhelming, it would be best to take your car to the dealership for a quick fix.

Check fuse # 63 marked EPS, 80 amp. If that fuse is good, then you likely fried the Steering Control Module

First are you sure the alternator is charging the battery ? If it is, someone will need to pull fuses and disconnect major circuits until you find the drain. It could be a simple relay, or a short to ground in the harness somewhere.

Here is your fuse box diagram. See if you can find it? The system is computer controlled. If you could just remove a fuse, thieves for break in and full the fuse. Take it to a local alarm / radio installer to diagnose with a pro grade scan tool.
