Ive heard of people bypassing the clutch neutral safety switch. I beleive it is as simple as finding the button under the clutch pedal and snipping the two wires and twisting together
(
¦n?·tr?l ?s?f·t? ?swich)
(electricity) An electric switch that is connected to the ignition switch of an internal combustion engine and prevents starting the engine unless the transmission shift lever is in the neutral or park position, or the clutch pedal is depressed.
Might try tilting the steering wheel up or down and starting in different positions, maybe loose wire in tilt.
Can someone tell me if the doors , fenders, front
They should be a bolt on fit except possibly the rear doors. Measure the length of yours and then the Suburban to be sure they are the same length. Front doors should be the same. Be sure to watch for and count shims when you remove and re-install these parts so your body lines are lined up. Grab any that you can get from the donor truck so you have extra if you need them. Trace around the door hinges before you take them off so your have a reference point to put the new ones on. Hope this helps.
Power locks stay lock cheched switches they are ok
This is on 1 door or 2 ?
There is a small solenoid that does the work. Have you checked the fuse, make sure it is good, if so you will need to make sure you are getting 12 volts to the switch, and then 12 volts to the lock solenoid.
Please let me know what you find.
Where do i find the coolant temperature sending
1993 Chevrolet Truck C2500 3/4ton P/U 2WD 6.5L Turbo Diesel 8cyl
The coolant temperature sensor is located
u
Under hood, center, upper engine area, passenger side
of water outlet, mounted in intake manifold.
Note...it will have a egg shaped connector and two wires. You are looking for the sender, which I am not relatively sure is in the left head, near the #1 spark plug, but I am not certain.
If there is just one wire, unhook it from the sender, and when it is
held against ground, the gauge should go to one end, and to the other
when unhooked.
I hope help you.
New clutch doesn't feel right.
this happens for a while untill everything settles, but the are adjustable slave cylinder rods, even after bleeding the system takes a while to work properly.
HYDRALIC CLUTCH BLEEDING 1993 CHEVY TRK 2500
raise and support vechicle safely.remove slave cylinder.hold slave cylinder at a 45 degree angle.with bleeder screw at it highest point.have a helper fully depress hold clutch pedal.then open the bleeder screw. then close the bleeder screw.and have helper release the clutch pedal repeat the procedure until all of the air is evacuated from the system.keep check on on master cylinder keep fluid level full.to keep air from being drawn through the master cylinder.never release a depress clutch pedal with bleeder screw open.or air will enter the system.
Need to bleed the hydralic clutch system on a 1993
Should be a bleeder on the slave cylinder. remove the cover on the master and open the slave and let drip until fluid drops sdteady and no sign of air. Close slave and close master after replenishing the fluid. The first time you press on the pedal go slow and release real slow. Then you are off and clutching. Good Luck
