Moter bogges down during acceleration

I would check the TPS sensor( Throttle Postion sensor), My truck was doing the same thing one day, Some go out over time and others just stop. it is about 40+ dollars depending on the type of vehicle that you have. but it is worth a check, you can test it with a volt meter, serach utube they have a video on how to test them.

My steering wheel locks up

Yes, it could definitely be the worn out key, and most likely is. Your steering wheel locks whenever the wheel is turned without the ignition being switched on. You should still be able to move the wheel a little bit in one direction. Turn the wheel slightly in that direction to alleviate the pressure on the locking pin and in doing so, the ignition switch. That should make it a little easier to find that "sweet spot" where your key will work to turn the ignition. And definitely get a new key made. Hope this helps a little.

4l80e trans won't go in

Check your linkage at the column and on the transmission to make sure nothing is messed up there. Check your fluid to make sure it is at the proper level and to see if it is dark or smells burnt. It should be a nice reddish pink color. There are shift solenoids for the forward gears that fail but I don't think there is one for reverse. You can remove your transmission oil pan and inspect it for broken parts and excessive sediment in the pan and look at the condition of the filter. It will be a messy job so be preparred. If your linkage appears to be fine and fluid level full, I suspect that you have some internal tranmission issues going on and will probably need a new transmission. If you end up buying a new transmission I recommend buying an AC Delco remanned as they have a good warranty and I've had good luck with them.

I have a 1992 1500 chevy pickup with auto trans

All the sensors and controls for that tranny are inside it, you cannot access them without a teardown. It's more likely that during the install of the engine a wire in the wire loom was pinched or the connector isn't making contact properly. Check it.

I need type of fluid for 1992 chevy c2500 manual

you don't need a fluid actually, you need a gear oil. Gear oil is for maual transission and also for the differencials. Go to any auto parts store and ask or just buy gear oil, that container should be included with the pump, so that more easier for you to fill it. Ok. f

Wipers work intermittent

Hello bdsisselI.
I suspect the circuit board on your Pickup is at fault here. Very common problem with the solder joints cracking.
Two ways to repair it. If you are handy and if you or someone you know can use a solder gun you can often save the board. Otherwise buy a new one at your local auto supply.
On your wiper motor, just above where you put in brake fluid, on the firewall, there are 3 screws with torx head screws. Unplug the wire connector. Remove the screws and pull off the cover. You will see the back side of the circuit board. Gently pry the board out (it is retained by metal friction clips).
Inspect carefully the circuit board on the end where the plug is and you will find the cracked solder. Hit them with the solder iron and viola, no more problem.
Hope I helped you along with this.

Cant shift unless i compression shift

Chances are pretty good your clutch is toast ! If your truck has a hydraulic clutch , in which mine doesn't , get a friend to pull the boot off of the clutch fork , and with a light , make sure it is disengaging the clutch at all . If you have a mechanical clutch , simply adjust it out til the problem goes away . Look forward to a new clutch very soon ! good luck !!
