Hi,
First I would have the system
checked for proper charge. If it is a little low this can be one
symptom. Another is loss of voltage to the compressor from the control
head. Another possible reason is the ac clutch coil may be getting hot
and then opens. When this happens the compressor is off. Once it cools
a little then it resumes.
Those are the first steps in action to address your problem.
If problem still remains, then follow the below Guideline :-
I would check your a/c drain tube for a
blockage, at least partial. What you have described is a freeze up of
the evaporator. If the condensation can't escape the heater box quick
enough it will form ice on the evaporator and stop airflow over it. It
will then have to thaw for a while before it will work
again.
