Where is the blower motor fuse on 82 chevy c-10
At the very top of your fuse block you should see 2 fuses or 2 fuse holes. The fuse hole on the left is for an electric choke and the fuse on the right is for the heater or air conditioning. There is also a second fuse 2 spots down from the first one. There is a circuit breaker in between them. Hope this helps.
Old chevy 235 six cylinder, when cold it falls on its face
Question, does it stall, or bog? A few things come to mind. You say the carb. is new, what is the cfm of the carb.? Could be too much carb. for the cam. It could be a problem with the accl. pump on the carb. dumping too much fuel on take off. Have you checked the fuel pressure at the carb. also? You say you checked the timing and vac. advance, but is the timing set high enough? Usually this is a sign of too much fuel being dumped. If you have the chance, try another carb. Let me know.
I have an 83 6.2 diesel that is rebuilt but won't start
Does it have a new fuel pump? These engines were bad for that. The fuel pump may work but if it's weak it may not be able to pump enough to re-prime itself after a rebuild. It would also be a good idea to pick up a copy of Haynes Diesel Engine Repair Manual, part #10330. It has a wealth of info on these engines. Hope this helps.
Wont start turns over gets fuel on a 6.2
dear friend if you get fuel and the timming is right then please have a look at the spark,if you have spark then most likely you have fluided her, wait a while and try again
1970 Chevy 350 in C30 truck dies when warm
You need to find oput what you loose when the truck shuts off, all you need is Air, Fuel , and spark to run one of the three are droppuig out when it stalls and will not run. Chech the carb for gas it sounds like you have a weak fuel pump.
How to install a gas tank in 1983 chev 4X4 truck.
The trick to it is the easy way....... lift the box.
Take the bolts that hold the rear box to the frame out of one side "the gas tank side" and loosen the bolts holding the box to the frame on the other side.
Jack the box up....tilting it up sideways just enough to work on the tank.
MAKE SURE THE BOX IS SAFELY HELD UP WHEN WORKING UNDER IT!
Now connect everything with no sweat or dirt in your eyes.
The last thing .....and don't forget.....will be the 3 screws holding the tank filler neck to the box after it is lowered.
This technique works well for changing fuel pump assemblies on newer trucks quickly.
I have a couple of issues to fix. 1)how do i
I assume that your Holley is a similar age as the truck. If so I have a Holley book that I can dig out and let you know for sure, but there should be a large brass screw on the side of the float bowls. Gas should just run out of that screw hole, I believe. Floats that were too high could put gas into your oil.I'd need the model number to look it up.
