The motor grounds directly to the chassis via the seat frame.

you may need to replace the sending unit

You need to have the choke adjusted so it runs on a fast idle so the engine can warm up or you may need the carb to be rebuild and adjusted properly.

There is a pad on the engine passenger side by timing cover sticks out where head meets the block On that pad will be letters and numbers write them down ad you will be able to check in a GOOD shop manual it will tell you what you have. If it is original it is either a 350 or 427

Change the battery. Newer batteries sometimes go all at once, and are so dead even a jump start won't work. It has happened to me twice. Once you put in the new battery check the alt output with a volt meter should read about 14.5 volts at the battery. If it does problem solved just reset the clock, radio etc.

If you are going to attempt this repair and have never done this level of work you had better buy a manual. It's not something that can be described here.

sounds like your on off switch in vichle is not working correctly as it may be stuck in the on position even though you switch it off. I say that only because there seems to be power on the light motor all the time and when you start the car they flip up> find the relay that goes to the motor off the lights it could also be that the relay is stuck in the on position. when you switch your lights on you should hear a click noise come from the relay if you dont then it is possible that it may be burnt inside> easy way to cheack is to start the car and remove one fuse at a time if nothing happens replace the fuse and do the next one until the lights close. all you will be doing is removing power off the relay, when you find the one that is powering that motor remove it and replace the relay

you may have a vacuam hose off somewhere, else adjust the throttle plate stop on the carb where the linkage comes to rest

should be on the dash just under your window on driver side

unfortunately vehicle owners refer to vehicle parts using names that they make up as a dolacky or thingabob. If you can explain where this valve is located maybe some can help.

you don't, it either works or does'nt, check all grounds, put power to it (12) volts, sending units are very delicate, care must be taken when replacing, in tank, . a wire diagram would show you the power wire, the ground wire, etc., maybe you can check it ?

Check that your cabin air ducting does not have disconnects and verify the fan is blowing air through the cooling condenser coil. Something may have fallen down through the windshield defroster slots and jammed the fan.

u can get a deal that clamps on can with a r12 hose on it will poke hole in can put it in the low side

Anyone owning a corvette, shouldbe doing their own workIf I could buy a stingray brand new, at age 19 & do a frame uprestoration,bore the old 327 & sleeve it at 22, & rebuilt the trans,without any help or knowledge,you should be able to installa heater core.

I had to bleed the air out of my coolant loop near the upper reservoir.
