FIRST YOU MUST REMOVE EVERY PART THAT COVERS IT.. IT IS SIMPLE SINCE IT HAS PHILLIPS SCREWS TO REMOVE. ONCE YOUR SWITCH IS VISUAL ON THE SOCKET WHERE YOUR INGNITION SWITCH IS AT.. ONCE IT GOES IN. A PIN DROPS ONTO A HOLE LOCKING YOUR IGNITION SWITCH.. YOU MUST LOOK UNDER YOUR SWITCH AND PRESS THAT LITTLE PIN... PRETTY MUCH LOOKS LIKE A RESET BUTTON ON A MODEM.... USE THIN CHISSEL TO DO IT.. THEN IT WILL POP RIGHT OUT...
Can i bypass the air conditioning compresser with
No. There is a tensioner pulley which controls the tightness of a serpentine belt. In addition, the belt travels a specific path. Bypassing the air conditioning compressor not only requires a different size belt, it would require rerouting the belt and omitting one component would mess up the travel of the belt and may actually result in reversing the rotation of some of the components that the belt turns. In addition, the belt tensioner is designed specifically for that length and size of belt. You would most likely affect the belt tension, which would result in slippage or overtightness. Overtightness on the bearings of the devices the belt controls will cause that unit to sieze.
My turn signals dont work how do i repair it
Start by checking the fuse under the dash panel. And make sure your bulbs are good. If nothing happens at all when you use the turn signal switch, it is possible you have a bad flasher relay located under the dash, the little cylindrical unit that causes turn signals to blink, and makes the clicking sound when signals are blinking. Used to be very cheap, but the newer units are a little more pricey, more sophisticated. If a new flasher doesn't fix it, then you may have a bad turn signal switch on the steering column. The circuit for the turns goes from the fuse, up to the turn switch, back out to the flasher, and then to the turn signal bulbs.Good luck.
