i would have to say that you have a fuel pump going out or a clogged up fuel filter how many miles do you have on the car

check the basics fuel and spark plenty of possibilities ignition module ,fuel pump

if faster you go the hotter it get the radiator is not doing its job time to change it at the same time change the thermostat too hope it FIXYA our problem thanks pierre

Try a little starting fluid in the intake (not too much, just enough to test). If it takes off for a second or so, may be water in gas. Ten months old? It should be alright, unless it's loaded with water.

Bad seal. Rebuild the Carb with a new kit and make sure you have no extra parts. You should be able to get a carb rebuild kit from your local auto parts store.
