Check flywheel teeth. Might be missing some teeth on the flywheel. Remove starter and you should be able to see flywheel. Turn flywheel and check all teeth.

I think the actual frame the hinges are on is bent, you should take it to a body shop to have them re-align it.

The fan stopped working all together. It did work

The blower motor that is under the dash for the heater is control by what is called a resistor. it is a small gadget with a plug on top with 2 or 3 wires. The resistor will give out sometimes and needs to be replaaced. it is either on top of the blower or near blower motor. This is a common problem. it is not that easy to get unde the dash but it is possible.

Why does my rear view mirror read OC

Open Circuit, check the wiring/connector from the mirror. If the connector is ok, you may have a bad outside temperature sensor, good luck.

MY BRAKE LIGHTS DONT WORK,

you have a broken wire some were if you cant find it you can run a seperate power wire from the third brake light to the brake lights but i would check for power at the brake lights first to make sure its not a ground problem

Why do my tail lights work but my drake lights

First thing to check is the switch located on the brake pedal. It should be mounted under the dash and when the pedal arm moves it should push in a plunger, check for proper arm adjustment and check the wires to see if they have been loosened.

My mode selector on my climate control wont move

Sounds like your climate control door acuator motor is failing. It is the motor that controls the door which directs the heat to where you want it to blow

I noticed I had an option to elevate the idle.

It's to help the truck warm up, or when you have a PTO option. But I'd suspect you would not have a PTO (Power Take Off) it's for farm stuff.

My hood seems to move up and down at high

You can tighten this up a bit by adjusting the plastic (or rubber) 'bumpers' directly under the hood toward the front of the vehicle. There should be two of them. To make them tighter, turn them counter-clockwise, both equally, a little at a time while checking the closed hood for tightness between turns. This should stop the constant bouncing around with the hood.

I hope this helps! :)

How many guarts of 75/90 gear oil does a 1999

this is going to depend on a bunch of variable, engine, ring gear size etc. Try this site, you can pick all your variables.
http://www.amsoil.com/mygarage/vehiclelookup.aspx

If you don't know what size ring gear my best recommendation would be buy 4-5 quarts and then return the full one(s) that you have left. I have a 2007 chevy 2500 hd with the duramax and I think mine took just a shade under 3 quarts.
