You need to add BRAKE fluid. After that, blead your brakes. You need to find out where the brake fluid went. If there are no leaks, you need to check the remaining life on all four brake sets. If you have no leaks, chances are pretty good that you need new brakes.

It will be a diesel oil only, with a viscosity rating of 15w-30 or 20w-50 depending on the ambient temperature of your area. The brand is immaterial but it has to be diesel oil to have the ingredients needed to run a turbo. Oil used in a petrol engine will not be suitable for this application.

first pull the battery neg lug first
then when working on steering parts, do not damage the clock spring.
read the FSM or alldata.com on all warnings on that $pring.
do not forget to defeat the air bags first , do not guess,
do read the fSm , it has like 1000 warning boxes in the book.
after all dead customers can not buy overpriced new cars.
treat bags as a loaded shot gun and WIN! every time.

Well, all rubber seals/components will have to be replaced this includes but not limited to calipers, master cylinder, wheel cylinders, ABS unit... and the system most be flushed. The used of petroleum based fluids is a no no cause the rubber components in the system are not compatible therefore causing the rubber to swell and the brake system to fail.
