Rust is like cancer - there really is no fix. You can cut out all of the affected area and try welding another piece in there but it will come back and is a temp fix. Best way to repair is to replace entire panel with a new, primed, painted one.

If it has dual zone temp. control it is most likely the heater control panel.

have you got a/c or climate control. Best to find out the cause rather than modifying. Check your owners handbook for the settings .... might be that is how it is intended to run If you have ordinary a/c that is a different matter

not sure but on my chevy there is fuses on drivers side of the dashboard and also under the hood is more fuses in a little box up top of the side of the engine on drivers side. I dont know if that is a fuse issue or not?

Pull each spark plug wire one at a time. Take out plug. Apply anti-sieze to threads and install new plug and wire.

Sounds like your turn signal, headlight switch failed. Need to replace the switch assm.

detonation or a ping comes to mind. if you are using a lower octane fuel, try a higher one. id also look into a tune up and a fuel system cleaning. a lean mixture or bad timing can do it too.

A faulty vehicle speed sensor will cause this.
It's mounted on the back end of the transmission where the drive shaft slides into, near the top, it's just held in with a bolt, on the right side of the tranny, also has a wire connection.

Speedometer cluster is defective. Many GM oproducts used stepper motors in the speedometer cluster. speedometer, gas gauge, tachometer etc what ever is a movement indicator.

Do not purchase a used one or one that is "repaired" if the stepper motors are not replaced with motors made after 2005. repaired units cost a few hundred dollars. individule stepper motors can be purchased on EBay for less than $10.00 each. The cluster must be removed from the vehicle and dismantled carefully, knowing it is electrical device and may be damaged by static electricity. good luck!!

this problem haunts gm & chevys alike computor glitch has most times been culprit .when this happens does shutting off waiting 5 min. then starting help?

It's hard to believe that a company we all support (and used to love) would leave us in the dust and turn it back on us. It is so obvious they have a speedo cluster defect and expect us to pay for their incompetence!!!!
And they actually want us, the people they are burning of hard earned dollars, to bail them out!!!
YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If you dig, you will find unimaginable amounts of people with this same problem on the internet and they know it.

Shame on them, and on us, if we give them another chance to do it to us again. They sit in their offices of gold and wonder why the empire is failing, dah!!! You can only rip people off for so long before it will bite you back.
