2003 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD - Answered Questions & Fixed issues
My 03 duramax started fine this morning but only
To start with, a Duramax Diesel runs on an excess of 20,000 Psi of fuel pressure. Unless you have some specialized equipment,(and know how to use it) I do not know how you could possibly tell that the fuel pressure is OK.Duramax Diesels also have had a lot of problems with glow plugs. This could explain why it will not start. Then again, it COULD be something totally different like a bad sensor. This could even be caused by a faulty fuel pressure sensor or a bad fuel pressure regulator. The best way to find out is to scan the engine computer for fault codes and read the engine data from the computer to see if all of the sensors are providing the correct input to the computer.
What is ipc/dic fuse
The IPC displays the season odometer information from the BCM in the driver information center (DIC). The odometer will display an error if the IPC detects invalid odometer data from the BCM.
You'll need to find a 10 AMP fuse in the instrument panel cluster, follow this diagram t locate it: https://ricksfreeautorepairadvice.com/2003-chevrolet-silverado-fuse-diagram/
Battery not charging
Most causes are: bad connection at battery post, corrosion inside connectors where they meet the battery posts. Bad ground connection where negative cable bolts to engine and frame. Bad alternator , take it to another auto parts store or alternator repair shop and have them test it, sort of like having a second doctor's opinion. I'd say the alternator is bad if it has a lot of miles /age on it.

No , it's not a trans module . Do you know how the starting system works ? Do you know what a wiring diagram is ? Do you have an know how to use a volt meter ? Going here
http://www.bbbind.com/free_tsb.html free wiring diagrams . You need to look an see what all is involved in the starting electrical circuit before guessing as to what the problem is .
Enter your vehicle info - year , make , model and engine size. Then under system click on engine , then under subsystem click starting .Click the search button then the blue link. Looking at the wiring diagram i see IGN E fuse 10amp , the park neutral postion switch , starter relay , IGN A fuse 40 amp . I do not see a trans module , but i do see the PCM -powertrain control module . The PCM has both trans an engine control modules in one box.
The PCM will energize the starter relay if there is no anti-theft system . Do you have a security light lit on the insturment cluster ?
No crank good starter how to troubleshoot any car Hyundai
Heated seat problems
Heated seat control module is probably at fault . Have checked for DTC'S - diagnostic trouble codes .

I believe it has a PassKey type of module that requires the correct key inserted in the ignition key cylinder before it will start. It is extremely difficult to disable it, but you may be able to figure out a way with the wiring diagram for the truck (check a service manual or try Alldatadiy.com).

Sorry but with all the work you have done this is really not the kind of problem that will get solved over this keyboard, I speak from 35 years of expertise. What needs to be done is to have a GM dealer hook up a device called a flight recorder, it monitors the engine performance in real time and can record any problem s like the one you are having. You need to figure out if the fuel pressure is dropping off, or the ignition has a fault or the injector or injectors are causing this or an engine wiring harness issue or if the PCM is the real root cause and many more possibilities.. These tests are time consuming and are not cheap to have done, but it is what is needed if you are to get this fixed. OR you can sell or trade the truck.
I have a 2003 Chevy Silverado 2500HD LT with
Unless you really know what you are doing it is best to get a mechanic to repair this. People's lives and safety are at risk and you could be held legally if something went wrong with your repair job. I would not touch it.
4 Wheel Grinds on Engage
make sure that your vehicle has a "on the go" 4wd operation
if not , you will have to all but stopped to get around the gear slashing
if you have "on the go " engagement , then is a problem in the synchro rings of the transfer case
take it to an accredited transmission specialist for a proper diagnosis
