If your saying the blower motor doesn't work, turn on the hvac and check voltage and ground at the blower motor connector. Go from there. Can you check for applicable hvac trouble codes? Some of the national brand auto stores will check codes for free, if there are any. At the applicable fuses, you need to check fuse circuit for voltage. Even if fuse is good, if no voltage on the fuse circuit, the circuit is still dead. Use a testlight to check voltage.

There are a number of things that can cause the ECU to go into limp mode. Are all of your gauges reading normal? You can have the system scanned to tell you exactly what problem the ECU is registering.

You need to put a scanner on the ecm/computer for the truck and reset or delete the code in the computer. This is all assuming the broken line has been fixed and the lines bleed. The abs light is for the brake system and there is a valve in the line that when the line breaks it shuts off the line in the front or rear of the truck that has a break in it. You need to be sure the valve is shifted to the center position again and this will usually happen when you bleed the fluid after fixing the line or you will need to replace the valve in the brake line. Sounds about right, but you only have one actuator motor. It is in the center of the dash inside the truck and is attached to the heater box. The actuator motor opens and closes the doors on the heater and air in order to direct the air you want either hot or cold as the heater core is in the bottom of the heater box and the ac evaporator air is coming from the top of the box. The motor may be ok and one of the arms is loose or worn out or the spring is weak and not holding position. Hope this helps.

check for a vacuum leak on the hose going to the actuator for the heater door. Sounds like the hissing sound may be a vacuum line. Hope this helps.

The battery starter and alternator would only affect cranking. Someone will need to find out if it is spark or fuel related to know which system to inspect.

Take it to a ASE certified repair shop . Because you don't have a clue !

check the connection to the transmission its a speedometer sensor and it could have malfunctioned or came loose

I drove a Silverado last year and I had to replace the heater core as well. As Ray suggests, I fumbled through the repair manual but found that very difficult to process. I ended up going to a place that specialized in truck equipment and parts and taking my questions up with them. hello Joanna Watson possible for this are the sensor for the brake system...this is the features of the car company for further trouble may occur in the future...but you can drive your but it always appear.

Did you check the gauges fuse?

For starters it is spelled "Brake" light...LOL . Sounbds like you may have a brake light switch that has gone out. In yor owners manual does it show more than one fuse for the brake lights? Most vehicles with a thrid/highmount brake light split the brake light power to either the left and third brake light and the right brake light or vice versa, or posibble 3rd brake light on its own fuse. I would check if all of the brake light including the 3rd brake light dont work. If no lights work at all it leans toward the switch which controls all or them to activate hence the brake light switch. It should be mounted on your brake peal arm or to the main base. The pedal lever activate the switch when you depress the brake pedal.
