Both front oxygen sensors can fail at the same time
If you replace the front or upstream sensors at 100,000
miles, if they haven't failed sooner, your doing preventative
maintenance,so add that to the list
After that they slow down & you don't have the proper control
over the fuel trim & your vehicle is not as sharp in response to
your gas pedal request
The chugging is something you need to look into
The O2 Sensors are not causing that, you got things
that need attention,spark plugs,air filter,clean maf sensor
& check out ignition issues, worn out exhaust converter
causing a partially blocked exhaust system
Ignition coils burning up
coils come in t different voltages for two different wiring applications in cars.. Let me give you a sample . Car A ignition is 12 volts so there is a 12 volt coil fitted IT starts on 12 volts and runs on 12 volts. no problem .BUT car B ignition system is divided into 2 sections The start section is 12 volts so that the coils get maximum voltage fro starting but in the run position the circuit switches to a resisted circuit so that the coil only gets 7.5 volts . Now if you put a resisted coil in a 12volt car (A) then the coil will burn out very quickly as there is no resistance circuit to protect it. The General (GM) use a resisted wire from the ignition switch to the coil so that you have 2 wires on one terminal and one wire to the distributor. Check which coils you have been using as you will see on the bottom a note --use with resistor--. Second point if you leave the ignition on and the engine is not running then there is a current that is passing through the coil and this is an electric field and that will (like and induction heater burn up the coil
My truck feels like it dropped a cylinder or two.
Spark plugs (cracked or carbon tracking, fouled), wires leaking voltage or arching, distributor cap (carbon tracking) where the spark arks inside the cap and doesn't make it to the plugs. The poppet valves may be clogged.
Replaced front baring now brakes dont work properly
if you removed the brake caliper completly then it sounds like there is still air in the lines.takes alot of bleeding to get it out if caliper was dry....hope this helps.....would try bleeding somemore....good luck...
Tried to start the truck---nothing
sounds like a bad connection,it wont heat up the solenoid or the starter, check your hot and negative cables from battery to starter first could be the starter itself, ggod luck
Fuel gauge gos arractic spins in circles needle
the fuel level sending unit in the tank has gone bad. there is an electrical contact on these that wear out, very common problem. however, some models are integral with the fuel pump, which means the whole assembly will have to be replaced. beware the inexpensive pumps, as they can cause running issues soon down the road, and the gauge sending units are often inaccurate. stick with the ac delco brand.
