How to tell if a master cydliner is going bad

This could be many things, a flexible pipe that is expanding, or leaking. A metal pipe that is broken. A caliper or cylinder that has leaky seals, or master cylinder seals leaking. I would start with the simplest first. Check if there is any fluid near all the wheels, it is possible to loose fluid and not actually see much until you take the wheel off. If you have cylinders on the back I would check these first as they are the most likely to leak. You can also check the pipes, but obviously this is much harder as you need access to underneath. The master cylinder is difficult to check, you can do a visual check, but they don't really leak as a rule, only on the inside. Do it systematically, and take your time, if you lift the car up to look underneath etc. put on axle stands not blocks or bricks, as this is very dangerous. need Any more help get back to me.
