this problem is an indication of a problem with the fuel pick up in the tank. when you do a hard turn the fuel runs away from the pick up and the pump and injectors starve . Check if the pick up is one side of the tank and not on the middle Check the theory by filling up the tank and seeing if it still does it and at what point of the fuel level it starts.

do you get check engine codes?..have you done a leak down test and compression test to determine mechanical engine health?

If you plan on doing alot of of your own work on your car, its best to go to the parts store and purchase a manual. The manual will have a full diagram of the engine. It will have everything that is to know about your vehicle in it. If they dont have one in stock they can probably get in the next day.

Install fresh battery, change oil and filter, drain fuel tank and add fresh gas.

Drop the transmission pan. Inside the pan you will find the filter. Remove and change it. Change the pan gasket while you are at it.

try push the rubber spark plugs covers down over your plugs.

check for dead short at the back of the accessory plug

Needs a service, somewhere that has electronic testing.

take the fuel filter off for fun and see if ya can blow through it at least fast and not cost but a few min s... If burning a lot of gas ,,timing ?...bad plugs ..wires you can check wire out by just unplugging one and seeing if that changes idle at all until ya find one that does not ...wooot bad plug or wire...

Most of the GM trucks of later 90's and newer have a little black nub on top of the dash by the defrost vents for a daytime running lamp sensor.

Try pulling the dist cap and rotor and make sure they are still in good condition and not corroded

if v6 engine most likely fuel injector spider inside intake manifold

Gas or exhaust make sure catalytic converter isn't clogged you will loose a lot of power .good luck

There is obviously a short in one of those wires on the OTHER side of the socket. You may want to get yourself a Haynes Manual and check out the wiring. All of the diagrams are in that book. Good Luck.
