How do I adjust my torsion bars on a 04 Chevy Tahoe
tighten to go up loosen to go down two bolts under truck about the middle i think size 3/4 or 11/16 you will see the torsion bars that go from the front of the truck to this crossmember the bolts are pointing stright down
Torque specs for 04 tahoe front hub
As tight as you can get them with a 18 inch breaker bar. I use an impact gun( 400 ft lbs) on them. If you want to be extra sure, use blue locktite on the bolts. Specs are around 135 ft lbs.

Check your fuel filter if it needs replacement. Empty it out then connect it back. Try to start it again. Inspect the fuel filter if it filled with gasoline. Check if there is noise at the fuel tank to check if the pump is working. If it did not, inspect the fuse for your fuel pump and the relay. If both are good you may connect the fuel pump directly to the battery to see if it works. It may be a bad wiring.

It is possible that the harmonic balancer is slipping back into the timing chain cover making the scraping noise. If the vehicle has electric fans, a fan motor could be bad.

Pulling code's from the 4X4 control module would point to a diagnostic procedure . Do you own a professional type scan tool that can read DTC'S - diagnostic trouble code's in the 4X4 control module ? Autozone , advance etc.... can not read these code's .
Which transfercase does it have ?

The BW 4482 transfer case features a 3-button shift control switch located on the instrument panel
The NVG 246 EAU transfer case features a 4 button shift control switch located on the instrument panel
When the ignition key is in the RUN position, the transfer case shift control module monitors the transfer case shift control switch to determine if the driver desires a new mode/range position. At a single press of the transfer case shift control switch, the lamp of the new desired position will begin flashing to inform the driver that the transfer case shift control module has received the request for a new mode/range position. The lamp will continue to flash until all shifting criteria has been met and the new mode/range position has been reached, or has been engaged. Once the new mode/range position is fully active, the switch indicator lamp for the new position will remain ON constantly.The 4X4 system with four button shift control can set a number of DTC'S

Doesn't lock or unlock ? These relay's are controlled by the BCM - body control module .
I have factory service repair information , 32 steps ! Too much info to post here .
Power Door Locks Inoperative (Rear Door(s))

Activate the door lock switches to the lock and unlock positions.
Do both rear passenger doors lock and unlock?
YES - Go to Testing for Intermittent Conditions and Poor Connections in Wiring Systems
NO - Go to Step 3

Is there only one door lock actuator that is inoperative?
YES - Go to Step 6
NO - Go to Step 4

Are the rear door lock actuators inoperative for both lock and unlock?
YES - Go to Step 8
NO - Go to Step 5

Do the rear door lock actuators lock?
YES - Go to Step 15
No - Go to Step 10

Disconnect the inoperative door lock actuator.
With a test lamp connected to a good ground, probe the door lock actuator lock circuit at the door lock actuator harness connector.
Activate a door lock switch to lock position.
Does the test lamp illuminate?
YES - Go to Step 7
NO - Go to Step 25
Some of these steps can be bypassed because you say they worked after replacing the relay .LOCK RELAY ? right .

With a test lamp connected to a good ground, probe the door lock actuator unlock circuit at the door lock actuator harness connector.
Activate a door lock switch to unlock position.
Does the test lamp illuminate?
YES - Go to Step 24
NO - Go to Step 26

Remove the rear door unlock relay.
Connect a test lamp to battery positive voltage.
Probe the door actuator unlock control circuit cavity in the left IP fuse block.
Does the test lamp illuminate?
YES - Go to Step 21
NO - Go to Step 9

Install the rear door unlock relay.
Remove the rear door lock relay.
Connect a test lamp to battery positive voltage.
Probe the door lock actuator lock control circuit cavity in the fuse block.
Does the test lamp illuminate?
YES - Go to Step 20
NO - Go to Step 22

Remove the rear door lock relay.
Connect a test lamp to a good ground.
Probe the battery positive voltage circuit (high current) cavity in the fuse block.
Does the test lamp illuminate?
YES - Go to Step 11
NO - Go to Step 22
