2004 chevy cavalier wi'll not start unless I keep my foot on gas.
Then it will start but won't stay running until it warms up. While driving it runs fine untill you brare then it stalls out.
Pressing the pedal down, puts in clear flood mode. Any applicable trouble codes? Did you use a gage and check correct fuel pressure, also, see if pressure will hold for a bit, with everything off. If it drops like a rock you have fuel leak. Pull vac line off fuel pressure regulator, where applicable, if fuel runs out, you have a faulty fuel pressure regulator. You could have fuel injector leak?
Smell of your crankcase oil dipstick, if it smells like gas, either you don't change your oil and filter very often or fuel leak. There could be other issues? You have to start testing, somewhere.

This may be related to the antitheft system. The system is known for turning off the starter and/or injectors when it fails. Normally when the injectors are turned off, the car will run for a second or two, and then stall. When it's the security locked out starter, you won't even hear a click when you turn the key. Is there a light on the dash that says SECURITY or a picture of a car with a lock through it? This is a common problem worth looking into.

Where is the input turbo speed sensor located for my 2004 Chevy Cavalier? Is inside the transmission?
The input would be on the front wheels .The out put is on the output of the transmission .So the input from the wheels turning is sent to the pcm and compared with the out put of the transmission out put shaft that puts the drive force to the road .
It could be reversed from front to rear but the concept is the same the computer senses the free wheel spin rate and then adjusts controls like fuel trim and timing air intake and so on compared to the speed of the transmission shaft
