Hard time starting up, crank, crank, than starts
The starter's only function is to turn the engine--if it is doing that, then the starter is ok. If the engine doesn't fire, then you have ignition, fuel, computer, mechanical (valves, etc.), or other complications to contend with. Go to Autozone or other business that offers a free scan of your computer and write down all of the codes it finds, which are clues to what part is probably bad. Plugged fuel filter or worn-out fuel pump are likely candidates. When were the spark plugs last replaced? Hope this helps!

Engine miss ,running rich ,-rottten egg smell from
It sounds like it may be your O2 sensor because if it is not working properly, the engine cannot determine how much fuel to ingest which would cause rough idling.
- sometimes a bad 02 sensor causes a fuel smell from the exhaust, or you can just remove and check the sensor. if its really black "like charcoal" you might wana get it changed, also checked the wires on it and make sure they're not torn or anything. have scanned to find problem code if check engine light is on. good luck!!
