There are also fuses to the left of your driver door next to steering. I would replace them all and make sure you replace with right numbers. For the headlights use a higher number. exp: if it says 15 use a 20, if 10 use a 15, same for clock and alarm. read owners manual. You can google owners manual or ask me and i'll email it to you.

she is right. replace the vaccum hoses and all rubber connectors that have a vaccum suction to the throttle body and the grommet gasket seals to your intake. should be 4 elbows and three vaccum plugs, and two gromet gaskets (Intake Air sensor & Intake Vaccum). Remember a small crack can cause it to bottom out and stall and probably have poor milage.

I have a 04 Aveo with 120,000 miles on it. The
This DTC tests for undesired intake manifold vacuum flow to the evaporative emission (EVAP) system. The control module seals the EVAP system by commanding the EVAP purge valve OFF, closed, and the EVAP vent valve ON, closed. The control module monitors the fuel tank pressure (FTP) sensor to determine if a vacuum is being drawn on the EVAP system. If the vacuum in the EVAP system is more than a predetermined value within a predetermined time, DTC P1441 will set.
Check The Evap purge valve for leakage.

From what I can find in my book - they are (generic code)
P 0700 Transmission Control System Malfunction
P 0133 O2 Sensor Circuit Slow Response (Bank 1 Sensor 1)
P 0137 O2 Sensor Cicuit Low Voltage (Bank 1 Sensor 2)
P 0131 O2 Sensor Circuit Low Voltage (Bank 1 Sensor)
P 0171 System Too Lean (Bank 1)
Could not find these codes in the GM section - that is why I went with the Generic codes
How to remove and replace valves on head of 2004
Assuming that you mean the exhaust and /or intake valves.
The first step is to remove the head. For step-by-step instructions, you'll need to get a service manual which includes pictures.
They can be quite beneficial, since they provide instructions for which parts must be removed to get to the head. Your local library can be a great resource, since many libraries have a good supply of manuals for different vehicles.
Once you have the head off, I seriously recommend that you take it to a local machine shop. It will cost you a little more than replacing the heads yourself, but the machine shop can check the condition of the valve guides, springs, seats and the actual valves. Another advantage is that the machine shop can set up the valve clearance to the camshaft.
The machine shop will also test the head to make certain that the surface is perfectly flat. That's important when you're re-installing the head.
Always use new gaskets and follow the torque specifications indicated for your engine.
This is a technical job, and you need to follow the engine specifications if you want the vehicle to perform properly.
Good luck.
Sometimes when i start my
if is not electrical has to do with the flow of gas into the injectors try putting some injector cleaner fluid in the gas or gas treatment see how that goes first or it can be your throttle position sensor is bad

I have a 2004 chevy
Skattamooch,
I had the same thing happen with my 2004 Chevy Aveo, but I drove it appx 3 hours with my hose broken and, evidently, cold air and dampness allowed ice to build up and they tell me thats what made my throttle plate stick 3/4 open! Dont know it you may have done something to the engine or not, but this definately can be quite dangerous!
I have a 2004 chevy aveo and there was a split in
email me. Check and make sure all vaccum hoses are not cracked. Basically anything connected to you throttle body, or intake that is made of rubber replace it. there is a small crack. happened to me this week. small air leak makes a difference. also if you can replace the intake with a cold air intake. Runs way better.
I have a 2004 5-speed
It sounds like the starter brushes are not making good contact. Have you tried tapping on the starter whenever it clicks but does not turn over? If it turns over after tapping on the starter I would pull the starter out and replace the brushes or replace the entire starter assembly.
I had my oil changed
You probably hit the sensor down there. It may be contacting when you jar it. It is just an electrical wire. Try that.
