Need to replace front wheel bearings on Toyota camry 2002
This is an old thread, however here are some tips:
Time to get strut nuts off: 2/3 days because I needed a really strong (impact) 22mm socket - 6 point and a 60cm breaker bar.
Time tot get *** old wheel bearing out: 2/3 days because I needed bearing press kit and it takes about 100Kg of force to turn the 60cm breaker bar to squeeze out the old bearing and you better make 100% sure you have lined up the bearing pushing things and the thing that collects the bearing the other end.
Project bearing installation is now starting ;)
How to remove rear tail light on 2005 aveo
Once you open the truck/tailgate you can see the 2 screws that need to be removed (see picture below). Once you remove the screws the whole tail lamp assembly pulls striaght out and just turn the light socket attched to the assembly and you should be able to figure it out from there. Hope this helps.....
What kind of transmission fluid do i need for a 2004 chevy aveo and how many quarts will i need of it?
In 2005 GM introduced Dexron VI to supercede all previous versions of fluid to use in automatic transmissions. You can continue to use Dexron III, and it will work fine in your older application. However, Dexron VI is backwardly compatible. This newer specification of ATF is supposed to handle heat and shifting better than the older fluids. One further imprtant note: Do NOT use Dexron VI in manual transmissions and power steering units.A 2004 Chevrolet Aveo uses Dexron III (H) automatic transmission fluid.Read an artcile in the below link: http://www.aa1car.com/library/atf.htmHope this helps; also keep in mind that your feedback is important and I`ll appreciate your time and consideration if you leave some testimonial comment about this answer.Thank you for using FixYa, have a nice day
2004 Chev Aveo not shifting into 4th gear
Out of the blue my aveo flashes Hold and won't go into fourth. Disconnected the battery to clear the code and it shifts fine until the car goes through a cycle. I'm sure it's a some low qual Korean sensor/solenoid. Overall, this is has been a great econobox reminiscent of my 1989 Honda Civic. I've replaced most of the sensors with NON -Korean replacements and really haven't had many issues. So when I find the offending solenoid/sensor I will post it here.
Doesn't want to upshift
the car is having difficulty with acceleration then it will stay in a lower gear longer to compensate. try not being so heavy on the accelerator and see if that changes anything (instead of trying to get up to speed quickly try leting the car bring itself up to speed in its preferred method) see how long that takes
How much freon does a 2007 aveo take
You should get a set of AC gauges so you can see what the pressures are because quite possibly the compressor is neutralized meaning it's not pumping and would need to be replaced... That is the most common problem associated with the system being full of freon and the compressor turning on but not blowing cold... If the gauges are reading the same pressure on both the low in the high sign with the compressor running that means it's neutralized and needs replaced...
Windows dont work
