Need to know how to change the timing belt on a
If it is a v6 there is no belt only a chain and there is no recommended interval for changing that. As for the I4 it is behind all the belt driven accesories in the pass side. you will need to pull every thing of or out and the belt will be behind a cover. Im not sure if there is a motor mount on that side that will have to come off too. I hope that helps
Service engine code indicates EGR valve.
You could have a restriction in the egr ports. remove the valve. Plug the holes, start engine. 1 hole will be blowing out exhaust, the other will have large vacuum.

CHEVI LUMINA 2001 HEATER failing...might have slow dex-cool leak
The heater in your car depends upon a flow of hot coolant going through the heater core in order to get hot air into the car. If the heater core is partially plugged, it will restrict the flow.
If you have a head gasket that is putting exhaust into the cooling system, it will eventually get into the heater core. When this happens there is no coolant in the heater core to make the air warm.
If the water pump vanes have corroded away the result will be very poor coolant circulation causing the heater to not blow hot air.
If your car is equipped with a heater control valve that is not functioning properly, the coolant flow will be restricted.
One or a combination of these factors is likely the culprit in your case.
Flush the heater core 2-3 times, and if the obstruction does not clear, a new heater core is required.
However in your case, a cracked head is suspected - this will give out a plume of white smoke on startup - There is no smell, carpet dampness, or abundant moisture in the cabin? (this warns of a leaking heater core)
The coolant is leaking through a gasket or crack, and entering the combustion chamber. You dont see a leak on the ground because it is being burned up with the fuel.
Good Luck, and thanks for using FixYa - A FixYa rating is appreciated!!
Can't find heater fan
The heater fan is located under the dash on the passenger side. In the 2001 Lumina you have to take out the 2 plugs holding the insulation in to remove the insulation. The heater fan is at the very front butting up against the firewall. Removing the front-most bolt is a real pain in the ****, so it might be easiest to remove that first and install it last.
Where is the charging port located on 1991 chevy lumnia3.1
Look on the left/drivers side towards the air cleaner housing & battery, under the air cleaner housing to throttle body duct hose, between the cruise control solenoid and the battery...... the Accumulator/Drier is located under the air cleaner housing mount in front/next to the battery.
I have Chevy lumina and is giving me this code
P0035. Will someone help me
Where did you get the code? If the person running diagnostics can't tell you you wasted your time. take it to Auto Zone They will check it free and give printed summary of parts that may be replaced or inspected.with explanation and parts that could be bad. All Codes aware OBD 2 and are available on line for free. Just goggle code P0035 for answers, works every time.. Anyone can buy a $29.00 scanner but does not mean they know what means
What is the exact location
The manual states it is in the inlet line between the high side port and the evaporator.(which is exactly where all orifice tubes are on all cars so? I know. Nice description.) It is in the connection right above the high side port. So after the port a few inches toward the firewall. If you don't know what the high side port is, it is the larger port and red cap.
