Go to Autozone or one of them and get the trouble codes read. Probably something there, maybe a crank or cam position sensor code, or also could be something in the ignition system like a bad coil or the ignition control module. The ICM controls the ignition coils' circuit, both of these two items can go bad and then fail when warmed up. Backfiring, shaking, and coughing kinda sounds like a bad crank sensor, but that's just a guess. Check for trouble codes first.

With it not starting sometimes, you may look at the coil. Not much information given here, so this is a blind guess. You didn't give make or model or year, or mileage. But the coil is a common problem on many cars.

Engine temp sensor could be faulty not letting enough fuel be commanded by the ECM .

many engine grounds are tied to the sane point, check these and also check the coil wire Either of these could be intermittent and they would only show up on a computer if the systems lost their ground connection or the coil wire shorted to the engine block while it was hooked up

New belts need to be readjusted as they stretch unless you have a spring loaded belt tensioner.

look up the fuse box diagram on the internet - that will show you what each fuse size is and what it is for.

To replace the rear main seal the engine and tranny must be separated. On my 99 Tracker, one of the cover lenses was missing, so I could see one of the bulbs. it just pulls out on mine... if you can get a good hold on it. I didn't have much luck inserting a new one though.. .it's cramped. Someone suggested that the lights might be on a removable assembly under the handle cowl. I'll try that tomorrow. The lense cover on the other light looks like it should screw off, but I can't get a hold of it. ...As for reaching under the "back bumper", I don't see how that could help, as my License holder is on the back door. In the worst case I'll be pulling the inside panel on the back door and removing the license holder to get at the bulbs... I'm putting LEDs in, so I never have to do this again! You gotta love these foreign jobs...

Which sensor? There are sensors for air, voltage, throttle, crankshaft position and the list could go on for probably an hour. In all the time I had my Tracker, I only needed one sensor replaced and it was the O2 sensor. You seriously need to give us something to go on for an answer.

If the lens is brokin you will need to replace it by pulling the mounting L shape pins,, go strait down threw it,,, if it is just hazy or foggy looking, you can put a bit of off deep woods insect propellent on a paper towel wipe the lens gentlly in a strait line, dont rub,, you will be amazed.....it will be sticky feeling for a few days but will harden back up,, look almost new

G16b has a belt. and is a 60k mile service point. old post. goggle suzuki G16B and see zillion photos of it.

The sender screws into the side of the block or filter housing , idle the engine and look for the oil dripping , it just unscrews .(Fit new one ).
