Changed alternator & battery but car does not charge

make sure all those spots the wire daisy chains too arent corroded and clean and shiny bright, check all your connections and check that theres no corrosion on the bolts or mounting points. other then that you may just have a bad alternator again, autozone parts arent always the best

1998 Chevy Metro fueling problem

i used to have same prob, the gas nozzle is too big for this car, dont hold the handle all the way down let it go slower and it will work just fine, also hold it out just a little bit, because the nozzle is too long for this car, so you cant just let it sit there you actually have to hold it, while it is pumping

Can Geo Metro parts be used to fix a Chevrolet Metro?

The hood will be the same, but the bumper will be different: the Geo Metro had its turn signals in the bumper and the Chevy Metro had them in with the headlights. The bumpers also look different, however their mounts may be the same. If your sister wants fer car to look the same you should find a bumper from a 1998-2001 Chevy Metro.

1998 Chevrolet Metro engine fails

is your check engine light on? If so, have it read from a neighborhood store (i.e. Checker, Autozone), they tend to do it for free. That will give you the reading on what it is. You may also want to take a look at your MAS air flow sensor. It will allow you to start your vehicle but will tell the engine that it is gasping for air and will shut down. (That is usually connected right after your air filter)

Welcome to Fixya! Check the Starter Relay under the Hood in the Relay Box. There could actually be a couple of relays that could have gone bad. Locate a Relay that you know to be good and swap around a bit. Let me know what you get!
