I have a 1998 chevy c1500 and all three of my brake lights stay on and i have already replaced the switch with a new one

Most brake light switches have a small nib or piston/pushrod which is depressed by the pedal when the pedal returns. Many pedals are fitted with a metal plate and sometimes a plastic bung, which connects with the brake switch's pushrod. If this pushrod isn't being pushed in when the pedal returns, then the brakes are going to stay on. Check this operation carefully and please report.

Spongy brake pedal

I have a 2001 Chevy 1500 4 X 4 that recently had all new pads, rotors, and calipers installed. Since then my brake pedal goes almost to the floor before I get any brakes. I took it back to the shop and they bled the brakes with no better results. I bled them also with no results. I took the truck back and they installed a master cylinder with no results. It's now at the Chevy dealer and they say it's normal - BS! I had good brakes before I had all of the brake parts replaced, no one can figure it out. If you have a load in the truck or if you tow anything you better be looking at the ditch to avoid an accident. The original brakes would put you nose into the windshield and now I could stop it better the Fred Flinstone way. Anyone have an answer????????

Need to remove front bumper

Go under the truck, you will see about 6 to 8 large bolts remove them and lower the bumper off the truck, this is a very easy job even for a first timer. The hardest part is getting under the truck

I have installed a new distributor and lost the right crank position. I cranked the engine to TDC but after replacing the distributor back in facing the #1 cylinder I attempted to start it but didn

I am not sure about your model but for a six cylinder firing order usually is 153624. Since you said that before removing the old distributor you cranked the engine to TDC and on fitting the new distributor you should put the rotor in position of cylinder 1 and to be fitted on the correct advance position. But you said that you don't have any spark you mean from the distributor to the spark plugs? If so is not your timing marks but something is wrong wit the connector to distributor or the coil or distributor itself. Carry furthe checks about if you can or ask an expert to do so.
