Windsheild wipers aren't working. what could be

Check the fuse if that has not been done, if the fuse is good then give the wiper motor a light tap where the wire harness connects too. The circuit board on the electric motor assembly where the wire harness connects too is know to crack and will need to be re soldered or replace. The replacement part can be bought at Auto Zone for around $15.00 i believe or you can just re solder if you can and save your self the money for another day. The only other place would be the wiper switch it self may need to be replaced, but if there is no low or hi working on the wipers. I'm going to lean towards the wiper motor circuit where the harness clips to. Good luck and hope you get the wipers working again soon.

My 1997 chevy truck isnt starting,....new battery,

Just change the fuel filter, and take the air filter off the carburetor. Let somebody start your engine, and choke the carburetor with the palm of your hand and
open a little and close again. Observe if your car tend to start Also find if some gas gets into your hand. If it is, then, the fuel system is okey. And it still does not start, check the plugs for sparks. No sparks, check
your ignition coil. It may need replacement. After
everything is checked, start your engine..

How can I repair the melted part of the board

One solution is to get a "universal" relay block (connector) and wire it to the fuel pump wires on the back of the existing relay block. You can mount them virtually anywhere you want. These are readily available at most parts stores. They sell them for people that want to add flood and/or headlamps to their 4X4's.

Another solution is to get an OEM relay block out of the salvage yard.

Why is my Chevy C/K1500 misfiring? It is not the

Compression, air/vaccume leak, pluged injector.
My guess would be a bad injector, GM has an update kit for all of the injectors, with all new injectors, a body, and fuel regulator!

Window wipers will not come on at all

there is a circuit board on the back of the wiper motor that has a bad connection. You can buy the circuit board and replace it yourself. If you are handy with a solder iron, you can make the repairs on the circuit board yourself.

Drivers side rear brake line has a hole in it near

The best, SAFEST, and cheapest way to fix anything that has to with your brakes is just replace the brake line.

The brake fluid you're losing doesn't only affect that brake it will affect al four of your brakes and if the leak expands you could mash the peddle one time and have absolutely no brakes at all.

Brake lines aren't that much and it shoud take you under an hour to change it.

I hope this helps you out.

Thanks for letting FixYa.com....fix ya

97 Chevy truck cluster and transmission

I would say its your Ignition switch or the fuse for tranny is blown or the tranny is unplugged. My truck had a problem where it was stuck in third gear, the tach never moved, the gear indicator light went out.I left it at the tranny shop all day and nobody could find the problem. All you need to do is check your fuses with a test light.I looked at all my fuses and they were all good but when I used a test I found that some fuses didnt have power supplied to them from the ignition switch.Your fuses need power on both sides to complete that circiut. So I would say go get a test light because they are cheap and check your fuses before you go right back to the parts store for that ignition switch.Good Luck

While driving, truck just shuts off and on in 1-2

You would appear to have a loose connection somewhere in the electrical system--battery connections, loose fuses, loose connectors on engine computer, etc. Park the truck with the engine running and start wiggling wires, connectors, fuses around the engine compartment. Look especially at various ground wires attached to the frame or body. Check the body to frame grounding cable--a woven wire cable.
