Ok I had the same problem! The answer is one of your stock speakers is bad. You can disconnect it and it should be fine!

Yes you can just replace the chain, I would not recommend it. Even if it is not obvious, the gears are also worn and have undergone all the stresses that stretched the chain, they may be ready to go soon, why take the chance, the engine has to be torn down to the same point to replace the chain as to replace the gears. I would replace all with a timing gear/chain set and install all new gaskets as it went back together. A timing gear failure could cost you a couple valves and/or pistons when it fails (piston on its way up with a valve stopped at full open when the gear broke).

I would almost garuntee you have a bad water pump. When water pumps get old there turbines can wear off and even though they may still be there they want be as efficient. When this occurs you can normally rev the vehicles r.p.m. to about 2000 rpm and the heat will start working.

Did you check for power and a ground signal going to the coil ?Is the distributor rotor turning ?

The trans will in these vehicles 700r4 is what kind it has will loseoverdrive first then it will stop pulling all together--sorry bout the bad news :(

The pulse board on these trucks are famous for failing.No big deal,at the wiper motor,on the front,just unplug the wires ,take 3 torx head screws out and pop in a new board. About a 30 dollar part at the auto parts store.

on the starter or the block? a block can be welded with a cast iron rod..its hard to do and sometimes may not hold long..the aluminum nose on the starter can be changed out by undoing the two long bolts that hold it together..

Code 300 is for a random cyl miss, and code 1345 is for a problem with the correlation between the crank sensor and cam sensor signals.The computer is having trouble finding the correct spark timing because the signals from the two sensors are not correct.The sensors would need to be tested.

Check the wires to it, check the bulbs and sockets, check the fuse box under the hood, finally check the switch attached under the foot pedal.
