Where is the fuel pump rely on a 1994 chevy 5.7 2500 4x4
your problem moest likely not relay need to cheak fuel pressure and spark control modul e egr valve could be stuck also I had the same problem with my 1993 s10 relay is under the hood usely on the right side on the firewall
Odometer cluster fuse keeps blowing
If it's the GAUGE fuse than there are a lot of components on this wire. The smarter thing to do before you replaced all that stuff would have been to unplug those items, install a fuse, turn the key on and see if it blows. Obviously at this point we know it would have. Since the rear defrost, DRL, audio alarm, ac relay, 4x4 system and keyless entry module shape this fuse it may be a good idea to to get yourself a good wiring diagram and a good volt meter to track down the shorted component or wire. ,back lock latch horn stop working ,washer motor ,all at same time ...
Blazer known for wiring in rear gate going bad, bare and shorts out.
1. check all fuses (all of them) to be good.
2. replace any that are not.
3. check owners manual to see if the items no working are sharing the same fuse.
If not:
4. pull the fuse out for the tailgate
5. and test each item again.
if problem persists, you have a wiring problem. You will have to check each wire from the fuse box back to each element (washer, horn, lock.. Test for continuity (breaks along wire, tight connections at each end). repair any you find bare or broke or loose.
Repeat until all wires are checked. You can use wiring tester with a sharp probe and built in light with wire and clip on other end, you do not need ohm meter.

Locate the fuel filter
Fuel filter on a 1996 S 10 Blazer is located on the inside of frame rail just under the drivers side door.
Turn signals not working ?
Could be the flasher module. Try turning on the emergency flashers. If they don't work, the problem is with a plug-in flasher unit that is not all that expensive
No power to fuel pump
Hi Sylvia,
If you're going to be maintaining this vehicle, you should consider joining a group of people with the same vehicle. There, you can ask questions and get replies from many different people that may have had the same problem before. One such forum is linked below. I found a user in the "blazer forum" (
http://blazerforum.com) talking about his issues with the fuel pump in his '96 Blazer:
"..the fuel pump FUSE is the ECM BATT fuse which is #9 in the fuse box on the driver side (accessible when driver door is open). The fuel pump RELAY is in the glove box (there are 3) and it is the one on the left, closest to the driver side. The relay on the right, closest to the passenger door, is for the horn."
Rocking badly
Is this a rear end problem or could you have a front end going too?
The correct tires are, also, important.
How to test brake booster
Easiest way to check your brake power booster...before starting vehicle pump brake pedal and hold, start the vehicle, the brake pedal should drop when vehicle starts up.It functions on the engines vacuum. If it does not drop, you either have a serious vacuum issue or the brake booster diaphragm has failed.
How to add freon
If you don't know take it too some one who does cause I did my own it cost me $1200. bucks too fix it right.
Why does the car stall in my 1996 s10 chevy blazer while running?
A car stalls when the engine receives a sudden massive increase in load (think when you were learning to drive - releasing the clutch too quickly would cause the car to stall by transferring too much friction too quickly from the gearbox to the engine)
If the car only stalls when you are setting out from stationary then better engine/clutch control control is needed, or there is a problem with fuel or clutch. If it is an old car, try putting more choke on when pulling away.
If the car stalls all the time, the general reason is that there is probably either a fuel or an ignition problem causing the engine to cut out. Of course, there could be any number of things wrong with your car if it stalls during normal driving
Fuel pump wont work
recheck your wiring for lose wire. check fuel relay. under hood fuse box. when you turn on key pump should only run 3 second. do a fuel pressure test bleed each time you turn off the key. when you turn key on if pressure goes up pump is coming on
