I have a 1994 chevy

I am not that familiar with that year of Chevy truck but does your truck have ABS? Have you checked failure codes? Your speed sensor is usually associated with your transmission however your ABS sensors can give you this sort of problem. Please have your failure codes checked if your vehicle has the connection. Go to any parts dealer and they can check the failure codes for free.

Why does the temperature gauge on my 1995 Chevy K2500, 5.7L read 150 degrees ?

If you replaced the SENSOR and not the gauge SENDER, there's your answer. The SENSOR sends the computer (ECM, PCM, ECU, etc.) the engine temp so it can make the adjustments to the fuel, timing etc. The gauge SENDER makes the gauge read what temperature the engine coolant is. Hope the helps.

Fuel Cut Solenoid: Testing and Inspection
An inoperative shutdown solenoid can cause a no-start condition. Disconnect solenoid harness connector and with ignition switch in the "ON"
position momentarily touch solenoid harness connector to solenoid connector. If a "click" sound is heard, the solenoid circuit is operating
properly. If "click" is not heard, the system should be diagnosed as follows:
1. With test lamp connected to ground and the ignition switch in the "ON" position, backprobe the shutdown harness connector. If the test lamp
does not light check for open circuit form the ignition switch to the solenoid.
2. If the test lamp lights, check the ground circuit between solenoid stud and injection pump cover to see if connectors are clean and tight. If the
connections are not clean and tight repair and retest.
3. If the ground circuit is "OK", remove the injection pump cover. Connect a jumper wire between solenoid ground connector and ground. With
the ignition switch in the "ON" position, momentarily touch shutdown solenoid harness connector to shutdown solenoid terminal. If solenoid
operates, check for internal injection pump problem.
4. If the solenoid will not operate, replace the shutdown solenoid.

I have a chevy 1995

Hi,
Looks like you have current leaks somewhere in your truck. Please go check the current leaks using AMMETER / OHMMETER to check how bad the current leak is. Check the positive pole (+) of suspected wires to your OHMMETER while another one to Body ( - pole). If the reading almost 0 ( while you don't use the power in particular wires), this tell there is short circuited of electricity. The problem is may in some relays that the power connected to the truck while not in use.
In other words , you to check where the current leaks located , so you can fix the problem from the root.
