I need the firing order for a 93 chevy blazer
Firing order for a 4.3 liter v6 1-6-5-4-3-2
#1 piston is the first spark plug drivers side front of engine.
Passenger side cylinders are 2 4 6
Drivers side cylinders are 1 3 5
Distributor rotates clockwise and the starting spot is marked with a 1 on the top of the distributor cap.
Make sure you note the position of the 1 on the old cap before you take it off so you don't rotate the new one 180 out
My 2000 dodge neon was running hot on yesterday.
Check your oil dip stick and see if the oil is milk chocolate color or not. If it is, probably a blown head gasket. the oil is mixing with the coolent and may be leaking out the head area onto the ground. If you had the engine running and it backed out the overflow, it may be the thermostat stuck and the engine backed it out because it could not circulate the coolant and keep the engine cool. If the thermostat hasn't been changed recently, that should fix the problem.
Firing order
Depends on which engine you have.1.9 1-3-4-2 rotates ccw2.0 and 2.5 same order but rotates cw4.3 1-6-5-4-3-2 cw
Fuel pump is not working
Check the fuse and the fuel pump relay. If fuse is good, hold a finger on the relay while someone turns the key to on. If no "click", the circuit must be investigated for a problem. Pull the relay out and probe the terminals the relay plugs into. With key on, one terminal should have a constant voltage-that is the battery feed for the pump. When cranking the engine, another terminal should have voltage-that is the computer signal to coil relay, turning the coil on, and letting power pass to the pump.Alternatively, you could check for power at the fuel pump connector while the engine is being cranked. If you have a volt reading then (or a test light that lights up), the pump must be bad and needs taken out to see. If no power there when cranking engine, go back to the relay and check for power as outlined.
Digital display cluster
Chevy is known for using a cheap grade of wiring harnesses that corrode over time and short out. my 93 s10 blazer had a bad wire in the transmission harness resulting in only 2nd and 3rd gear and wouldnt shift by itself, i dont know if im right but something to check into.
Cranks but won't start
have you check the distributor?, I have had symilar problem with a newer blazer and it was the distributor, good luck
Digital dash lights do not work
hi I have the same truck and bought my truck with a bad dash,only the speedometer worked. I got it rebuilt from a GM dealer (700.00) and everything was great for a year or so.....Then the speedometer stopped working. It worked and then it went blank for 5 min. or so came on for a minute and so on......I was angry to find out the warranty was expired. I looked on EBAY and found a used one for 30.00. Put it in and everything has worked great so far. that was 2 years ago. Its hit and miss at the scrapyard but its the only option.They only used the" vacuum florescent " instrument panel for 2 years ,92, 93.....PS .....If you find one that works a GM dealer can adjust the KMS so it matches the truck you are putting it in ....
