How can I test the Radio amp #16147075 in my 1993
Check the multi-wire connector to the CDM unit to ensure it's mated securely. If it is, the likely problem is the power amplifiers mounted to the heat sink on the back of the CDM unit...but it could also be the tuner preamp section, the IF section or others. If there is absolutely no sound - no hum, no static, etc., I'd look at the power amplifiers. There are several sources of NOS and remanufactured CDM units on eBay and from other online retailers. Without a schematic of the CDM unit, you'd just be shooting in the dark. Replace it and call it a day. Good luck.

The rpm gauge would not be sending a signal to the ECM as it only reads the rpm's. The sensor that reads the rpms and from that information the ECM makes the necessary adjustments to the engine management. Have the fault codes read and look for a faulty cam/crank sensor.

1993 Chevy 1500 Wiper problem
If you found the problem, what was it? If it still haunts you, find a wiring diagram and I'll bet you can figure it out. There's probably other parts. Isn't there a timer switch involved? Am I correct in thinking the pulse board is the module at the wiper motor? It sure sounds switch related. You might need to examine closely the connectors for the switch....or did you already have it fixed?

Chances are that the vehicle speed sensor has failed. This would cause all the symptoms that you mention. If the computer doesn't seen any speed, then it has no reason to shift the transmission up and out of first gear. And of course, there would be no speed shown on the speedometer.
