plugged fuel filter or fuel pump is on its way out

try adjusting the hinge at the base of the bonnet. Loosen the bolts slightly and lower the bonnet till it is just about near the fender and pull it side ways till you get the correct gap. Gently open the bonnet until you can get to the bolts and tighten them back up . Repeat until you have the bonnet in the desired position
