I would pull the plugs and let the gas into the cylinders to dry out , you may have a hydrolock engine after putting so much gas into it , recheck the firing order to be sure is OK ususlly when you see a carb backfiring and smoking the firing order is not right
Were is the Fan switch for the radiator fans
Should be under the hood either in the fuse box or along the drivers side in the fender area. If it still has the information written down in the fuse box should be easy to locate,
REVERSE PROBLEM LUMINA APV 3,1
Yes it means the clutch pack or seal is out and has to come out and apart you can buy a rebuild kit for $150.00 thats all seals clutches and bands and you would need help in order to rebuild it, the rebuilding would take 8 hours for a trained mechanic and 2.5 to 3 hours to get it out and back in again. If you need the information on where to buy parts and have them shipped I can help you out on that part. yo will need some inner and outter snap ring plyers to do it. and if you let it go to long you will damage the output shaft and that gets real epensive. was the fluid brown and smelled like onions? Hey by the way rate me since I am giving you all this free info.if you get me in a live chat I can give you all the things you will need to know and how to do everything.

I have a 92 lumina with a 3.1 it is running rich
Check the vacuum line to the fuel pressure regulator and the fuel pressure regulator. You can check the regulator by disconnecting the vacuum line and see if there is any change, but the best way to check is to go lone out a vacuum line pump and connect it to the regulator. The fuel pressure regulator is on the fuel injector rail by the throttle body. If you go to Auto Zone they can lone out the vacuum pump and give you step by step instructions to checking the regulator. Good luck and hope this helps and have them scan the car since it's free of charge to scan there. Good luck and keep me posted, be glad to help.
How do i bleed air from power steering pump from
Routinely, you just jack the vehicle enough to have the tires clear the ground and with the engine on, turn full left till it bottoms out....then turn full right till you bottom it out and then repeat up to ten times.....
Radiator 93 lumina apv
Drain the system. Remove the upper radiator cover and the dual cooling fans (4 bolts and an electrical connector). Disconnect the transmission cooler lines and the upper and lower hoses.. The radiator should freely pull straight up and out. Reverse the process to install the new radiator.
Need to chang a heater core in this van
Disconnect the inlet and outlet pipes on the upper right side of the firewall (Its somewhat of a long reach but you can do it) Drain the radiator and then remove the heater core. Its inside the van located in the heater box under the passenger side of the dash board. I believe you may have to remove the inner glove box. I know that is the case on the TransPort and the Silhouette but the Lumina dash is somewhat different in style.
Engine still cuts out and backfires after changing coverter
This seems to be a timing problem. backfiring usually means that the timing is off. The timing belt sproket could have worn off or belt its slipping. If your car has a timing chain that could have broken sprokets. Timing is usually the culprit here in cases like this.
Baterry wont charge
you just found your problem. the main wire or hot wire is the one which kicks up the starter when the key is turned.
