Where is the wiper fuse located

The wiper has a fuse in the inside fusebox. But it also have a thermal breaker.. I'm not sure where its located on your truck but likely near the wiper motor itself.. Possibly inside the wiper motor.

Seems to me your truck was bad about the combination switch that controls the wiper going bad too.

I have a 1990 chevy

Check dist. cap and rotor and replace. Just fixed one last week. Rotor was causing a misfire under load and coil contact to rotor was worn out down too the cap. Graphite dust from the center contact in cap was all over the rotor causing a misfire. $25.00 in parts or less. While you are there replace wires and plugs. Autolite ap25 plugs 2.99 each

1992 Chevrolet W/T 1500 Pickup Heater

Hi, the best way to get a schematics for your truck is to buy a Haynes manual (about $25) for your truck at the auto part store. It'll give you a lot more than just the schematic.

I have a 1992 chevy

Your problem my friend is the fuel pump. These go out and your dead in the water. If all electrical systems seem fine and no warning light then I would highly suspect the fuel pump. Can you have someone get in and turn the key on and then turn it over while your looking into the throttle body, check and see if your getting gas, if none then it.s the pump. You can also try a LITTLE bit of starting fluid in the breather and it should try to start or may even run a few seconds, again this points to the pump or a completely clogged fuel filter. The pump is located in the gas tank just so you know.

1992 c 1500 the ac

It could be several things,I would check the fuse with a test light, the low pressure switch, the connecting

molex plug that connects to your low pressure switch could be bad and have a break on it.if all this is

okay, there is a high pressure switch at the ac compressor check to see if it has voltage. whenever you

change out the ac compressor it is recommended that you change out the high pressure switch. hope

this helps. good luck!

Hello
First check and verify the Detent cable is hooked up and not broken or disconnected. Have you done that? if so then you will need to adjust the cable. Below is a link to a how to page on the whole procedure.

On a 1992 chevy 1500-

Hi, Hope I can help you.
I do not know how you have checked for spark, but lets start from the beginning.
Lets start with an ignition systems check.
1. I want you to remove the high voltage coil wire. ( That's the wire in the center of the distributor cap.) Using a good pair of insulated pliers. I want you to hold it about 1/4 inch from a good engine ground. Now you will need a bit of help from a partner. Get them to turn the key and crank the engine. You should see a bright blue and well defined spark. Ok, If you have spark I want you to slowly move the coil wire away from the engine ground. As you do this I want you to pay attention to the coil tower. (The coil tower is where the other end of the coil wire is attached.) What your looking for is arcing and sparking at the coil tower. If this happens then you need to replace the coil with a new one. If this does not happen then your coil is working fine, and we will have to move on.
Note if you do not get spark from the coil wire replace the coil.

2. Ok if you have spark now we have find out if the spark is making it to the spark plugs. How are we going to do this? By checking the rotor, distributor cap, spark plug wires and spark plugs.First lets remove the distributor cap. This will allow use to inspected the rotor and the distributor cap. What your looking for is, cracks, carbon tracks and wear at the tip of the rotor. On the distributor ,look inside the cap for cracks, carbon tracks and wear on the terminals. If you find any of this replace the distributor cap and rotor. ( Note if you have any doubt of the condition of the rotor or the cap replace them.) Next lets check your spark plug wires. Lets pull off one of the spark plug wires from the spark plug side. Now inspect the wire connection for a white crusty powder. If you find crust replace your wires. Now you should check all of them the same way, but if even one has corrosion replace them all. You are going to have to inspect the wire its self . Going down the whole length of the wire. Holes cracks burn Marks and other damage. Once again if you find any damage replace them all.
I hope this will help you and good luck to all the read this FixYa
leave feedback thank you
