NUMBERS ON BLOCK

Hello there:

Casting dates are usually expressed this way, “C 18 4.” In this example, the “C” means the month of
March, “18” is the day of the month, and “4” is the last digit of the year. This last digit may mean ’64, ’
74, ’84 or ’94, so you must also check the other characteristics of the block to determine in which
decade and year it was made. Some parts have the decade and year cast on them; these identifiers
look like this: “C 18 84.” GM introduced new model years in September or October of each year, so
when you see a casting date of “L 16 7” for example, this indicates a casting date used in the 1968
model year because it translates into December 16, 1967. A 1968 model Camaro assembled on
January 6, 1968, might contain a number of parts that were cast in December, 1967. Casting dates
should precede hand-stamped engine assembly dates.

Buying a car from an auction. 2002 grand jeep

The two most common causes of this on your vehicle is the crank position sensor and/or the fuel injection unit. It is very common for this fuel injection unit to become clogged internally and cause instances when the vehicle will stall or hesitate. ' If the cleaning solves the problem then it should only be about $80. If for any reason the injection unit needs to be replaced this is usually about $500. As for the crank sensor this can cost about $150-200.

Change plugs and wire and engine will not

350 Chevy engine in what? 1990 Corvette? Who built it, did you?

Sounds as though you have plug wires wrong.
Firing order is 1-8-4-3-6-5-7-2

Distributor Ignition System:
Distributor rotates Clockwise. (Rotor)
Find Number 1 tower on distributor cap, go Clockwise with Firing Order.

Distributorless Ignition System:
VIEWING the engine from the Front of the car.

Spark plug wire connections along the back, starting from Left side going to Right side;
2-3-7-4

Spark plug wire connection towards the Front of the engine;
6-1-5-8

(To guess I would say you have 5 and 7 wires switched)

Left side cylinder order is 1-3-5-7, going from front to back.
Drivers side is Left side.
Right side cylinder order is 2-4-6-8, going from front to back.
