Pontiac Montana overheating

How do you know the thermostat is ok? If in doubt replace it. Water pumps are a even bigger what if. Did he do a radiator flush? Cooling system flush of the engine? Cooling fans come on at what temp and go off when? Replace the engine temperature sensor? 6 years old is bound to have sensors and such go bad.

Random misfire

I have an 01 impala 3800. After 2 months of searching for the source of the misfire that was causing my car to surge, stall, and generally not run well; I rebuilt my tranny, because it needed it, and in hopes of finding out something more. Well, when I put everything back together I stumbled on to a fuel leak on the rear fuel rail fuel supply line connector. In the process of trying to figure out what the problem was I\'ve been through many, many forums and a hellava lot of people have had the same problem and racked their brains and spent thousands of dollars. Long story short, I replace the connector with a $20 kit, right off the shelf of the local parts store, and the problem is fixed.

Hola no hablo bien ingles

My 2001 Pontiac montana is leaking coolant when it cool of. Its dripping from the transmition passenger side. I croled underneath and found that the coolant is leaking from the pass side of the engine

probably a gasket that seals coolant behind cover. I don't remember if there is a freeze plug there.sometimes a head gasket leak can do the same but not very common.

After warming engine during sub degree weather,I drive 4blocks and dash gauges flicker off then back on, and engines dies and cannot be restarted with battery boost.

check your door controls, they are known to short out. When you try to boost it after it has died, have you disconnected the battery for a few minutes first? Had this problem with an 02 envoy when the temp dropped below -20
