Water leaks from behind glove box onto floor
Three things can cause this.A leaking heater core, leaking windshield(when it rains,or has been washed),and sometimes not often the AC drain plug can be clogged.I would go with the heater core, look under the dash you will see a black plastic box with 8mm screws about 6-10 of them remove them from the bottom first and gently pull on the cover you should get water running out.Replace the heater core,if water present.
Choking out
Are you sure its not really running out of gas ?The fuel pump gets power from the pump relay for 3 seconds when you crank the engine, then the computer must "see" oil pressure or RPM to allow the relay to continue powering the pump. The pump relay may not be working, or the pump may be faulty.
Key is stuck in ignition
Look on the underneath of the steering column and directly under the ignition switch you will see a round plastic molded plug, pry that out with a small screw driver (it comes out easily and you will NOT hurt anything).Leave out the plastic plug then after driving the car all you have to do is shut off the ignition, tilt the steering column up (just like you do when you exit the car), then you take your right hand and put it at the bottom right of the column, right at the swivel point, there is a small access opening about 2 X 2 inches, you put your index and middle finger in there and flip the index finger upwards and your finger nail will go right up and touch against the the button switch, you push it with your fingernail (you wont hurt anything, button moves easy and it only presses in about 1/16' of an inch), then you can take fingers out of the access hole and then you can turn the ignition key the rest of the way off and remove it...I've did this for two years with my Grand Prix (I can't see paying $300 for a new solenoid and take the chance of it happening again)...some online sites show people removing the plug and putting the screw driver in the plug hole and pressing switch button up but after I saw the square access hole in mine I just started using my finger...oh and you won't even get your hands dirty doing this
2001 pontiac grandprix no blower heat/ac

2001 Pontiac Grand Prix Gt not shifting into OD
this trans is the 4T65E. It needs a 4th clutch hub. The splines strip off around 120k or more because they weren't hardened from the factory. The new ones have the hardened splines. The trans needs to come out and be partially torn down. I've fixed alot of these. Change the EPC solenoid while you are there. They wear and hang up causing intermittent harsh shifts
You can drive them forever without changing the hub but you'll never have 4th gear
Key stuck in ignition position
If you have a center concole shifter as I do on my 02 Gran Prix, I found that by opening the cup holder and using a standard slot screw driver and remove the concole, you will have to move the shifter knob with a small screw driver from the front side of the knob below the button, but before removing the shift knob move shifter into drive with the engine off to allow enough room to lift the console up and out the way. With the key in the stuck position, reach down to the wire plug and wiggle the plug under the shifter. pay close attention to the purple wire as this harness of wire should have been made longer to begin with. You will likely hear the solenoid in the steering column that people are by passing make a clicking sound. I my case I stripped of a little more of the insulation from the purple wire and soldered it down into the broken connector in the plug. Ideally someone with the proper pin connecter tools would replace the pin inside the plug or molex, I dont have them tools. You could purchase the small wiring harness and replace it, but I would caution the wire length. This is what the problem is with these Pontiacs IMO, too short of wire allowed under the console that plugs into the nuetral safety switch. All fixed here and working great.
