The front wipers reset in the up position on the windshield and will not reset in the down (off) position. Everything else with the wipers works fine.
This has happened a couple of times on my 1999 Pontiac Montana. Here's what I did to fix. Open the hood. Remove the shield over the the wiper cam mechanism on the passengers side. This is easy to access. Road salts and other dust and dirt gets in there and causes the sticking problem. Spray WD-40 in between the parts. Get in there with that little red spray straw and saturate it good, flush junk out. Get in the car and try the wipers. If I remember, you might have to manually place that little knob or lever on top of the cam in the opposite position to get it to resync, but try it first. Be sure the wipers are off when you're spraying the WD-40 so you don't injur your hands. I've had to do this twice and it worked both times.

I know it's the security system. I've tried all my tricks. The last time this happened it would crank then it shut off by itself, I disconnected the battery for 10min. and it fixed it but now its saying (LOW FUEL) but its full. I never seen any vehicle do that.
Does the security light come on when you turn the key to run ,Does it go off in a few min. The proper way to reset the anti-theft system would be to turn the key to the on position for 10 min. if the light goes out in that time ,turn the key off for a few seconds . Then try an start the vehicle . If light comes back on an won't start there is a hard fault . You mite at that point wan't to do a theft system by- pass . Also have your battery checked and or charging system . A low battery , a malfuctioning charging system may cause these type problems .

can I add freon even though my compressor will not engage
No the compressor must run to **** the refrigerant into the system. The other way is to pull a vacuum on the system, but that takes a very expensive AC evacuation pump.

i need to replace de fuel presurre sensor in a pontiac montana ,do i have to just replace the sensor ,o the sensor came with the fuel pump?thank you
Replacing the fuel pressure regulator, involves just replacing the regulator at the end of the fuel rail in the engine compartment, but fuel pressure sensor - does this mini-van have a fuel pressure sensor?
replacing the fuel pressure regulator: (1) locate it at the end of the fuel rail in the engine compartment,
(2) relieve fuel system pressure (3) disconnect fuel pressure regulator vacuum line. (4) remove fuel pressure regulator retaining screw (retain for re-use (5) using a shop towel to catch spilled fuel, lift & twist Fuel pressure regulator to remove it from the fuel rail. (6) remove/discard retainer and spacer bracket from the fuel rail. (7) remove fuel pressure regulator from the engine fuel return pipe. (8) remove/discard Fuel Pressure Regulator inlet O-ring (9) Check Fuel Pressure Regulator filter screen for contamination - if contaminated, replace Fuel Pressure Regulator. (10) Lubricate new Fuel Pressure Regulator inlet O-ring with clean engine oil & install onto the Fuel Pressure Regulator inlet. (11) Install the fuel return pipe onto the Fuel Pressure regulator (12) Install new retainer & spacer bracket into the slot on the fuel rail.
(13) Install Fuel Pressure Regulator onto Fuel Rail & tighten Engine Fuel Return Pipe nut to 13 ft-lbs (17 Nm). (14) connect Fuel Pressure Regulator vacuum line, (15) Install Fuel Pressure Regulator attachng screw & tighten to 76 in-lbs (8.5 Nm). (16) Inspect & verify that retainer & spacer bracket is engaged in the slots on the fuel rail. Grasp & pull on the Fuel Pressure Regulator.
to ensure that the Fuel Pressure Regulator is properly seated. (17) inspect for fuel leaks with this
procedure: On 2sec,(holy rollers), off 10sec will be left on, inspect for leaks while running.

NEED THE RIGHT WAY TO HOOK UP MY STARTER WIRING.THREE FUSEABLE LINKS RED,ONE PURPLE WIRE,AND POSITIVE CABLE.
The wires with the large loops go on the big terminal. The purple wire likely is the one with the smaller loop that goes on the right terminal (facing the solenoid). That is ith trigger wire from the ignition key.Do not permit the wires from either terminals to touch.
