I have a 2000 pontiac montana minivan The low pressure light is on. before that. the change oil light had been on for some time and i did not change the oil

Unfortunately, it sounds like your problem is one of the following, either:

A) A weak or failing oil pump which should be replaced immediately to avoid serious engine damage.

Or

B) A bad oil pressure sensor.

I would recommend having the vehicles electronic codes read, AutoZone will do this for free if you ask them. This should help you determine if the sensor is the problem or the pump.

I have a pontiac montana

You may be able to delete those codes. What repair required you to disconnect the cable? What changed? Is the transmission functioning. The solenoid is inside the pan on the valve body and controls Torque converter lockup. Did you disturb the wires while changing the trans. filter?

Where are both heater cores located on a 2000 pontiac montana

Front heater core is roughly center of dash near the floor in the heater/a/c housing. The rear heater core is on the drivers side at the rear of the van under the plastic side trim and once you remove that ,it is in the rear heater/a/c housing. Both are hard to get at,so make sure you need to change them.

If you cannot manually unlock the door, use a rubber hammer and firmly rap the door at the striker/lock area while manually sliding the lock/unlock switch to unlock,it may take a few tries but should unlock.DO NOT lock the door again until you have lubed the lock assembly and are happy with it's operation. If it's an electric lock fail to unlock/lock,with the door open use steel wool on the door post electrical door contact pads once in a while.

I have a 200 Pontiac Montana and today it

With the car running because it reduces the back pressure have someone that knows how to do it remove the cap from the radiator and see if the radiator is full, not the bottle but the radiator itself. If the antifreeze is not moving from the bottle to the radiator it will overheat. Not having heat unless you rev the engine makes me think the radiator is either not circulating the water or it is low.

2000 pontiac montana - brake lights stay on - all wires disconnected from switches at pedal

Maybe a problem with electrical connector that allows org wire to short to whit wire? The org wire is hot all the time, the whit wire becomes hot and carries voltage for brake lamps when switch is activated. Maybe whit wire is shorted to voltage, somewhere else. If you pull the stop lamp fuse, does it kill the brake lamps? 26340714-uzta3onw4mz1ggueu0gczi1j-2-0.jpg

Wat size socket do I use to remove power steering pump on 2000 Pontiac Montana

Do you have the pump drive pulley off yet? Remove the drive belt, remove the 3 mounting bolts (15mm) by using a socket ththrough the holes in the drive pulley. Remove the upper intake manifold to give elbow room, slide off the rubber return hose, remove the pressure line and lift out the pump. Just reverse the process to instill the new pump. And fill with the proper fluid.
