How to replace the heater core
its a tough job because it is located behind the dashboard in the car so the dash and and everything blocking the heater core will have to come out once you get to it its an easy replacement
I have a 1995 bonneville
Could be when you changed the water pump you dislodged something into the heater core clogging it. To replace this find an expert mechanic on Pontiacs. "Trust Me" or This sounds like a problem with the vacuum controlled trim door actuator. The trim door is a pannel that lets air blow through the heater core. If the actuator is bad it will not open the trim door and you will have no heat. This is a very difficult proceedure to fix for the novice. To manually open the trim door you have to take out the glove compartment. Behind that you will see vacuum lines, they are connected to the trim door. to disable the trim door from closing you have to gain access to the top of the actuator. Diconnect the pushrod from the 2 levers it connects to. Start your car and turn on the blower. Turn the levers that the pushrod was connected to adjusting to see when you get the most heat. Weadge something under the lever to hold it in place and you should have heat. This is a temporary fix. Best fixes are by expert mechanics, not by rigging, or putting a bandaid on the problem. Hope this helps....
My 1995 bonniville 3.8 supercharged has spark and
if it starts up shortly and then dies it could be the fuel pump resistor that these cars have if its a supercharged car.this resistor is in the circuit to boost the pressure the pump puts out so the car will always have enough pressure when the supercharger is activated.its located on the passenger side between the inner and outer wheel well and you can get to it by going under the car and looking up and putting your hand up in the area you will feel it.its hard to get to,the wire connector for it is under the hood by the washer bottle area and is a 2 wire connector.have fun finding it.you can install it under the hood if you can find an area that air flow will help keep it cool.
How do i get the proper security code for my 95
There are 15 possible codes. They are listed on this site. It is possible to bypass that part of the system and then use a regular key. With a little effort and know how, you could fix this rather cheaply. Alot of info on this site.

Security system won't let my
Unfortunately this is a very common and expensive problem to fix. The hardest part is diagnoses. A mechanic can trouble shoot this for days and change out multiple parts before fixing the problem. There are ways to bypass this system. Go to this link. There is a bunch of info on how the system "should" work, plus 2 ways to bypass the system. Both are possible to do on your vehicle. The first one bypasses the key and ignition and can before performed rather cheaply. The second cost some money but will bypass the entire system permanently FOREVER.

Engine heating up in stalled
There are a few different things that can cause this. First I would recommend that you check your coolant level and make sure you are not low. If your coolant level is good you might check to see if you electric fan is coming on when your cars temp is beginning to rise. And last of all if every thing else is working fine you may want to change your thermostat. I hope this helps you out.
Car wont accelerate properly, it
Code P0131 is your Oxygen sensor that needs to be replaced. This could cause the other code which is P0300-Random Multiple Misfire although this is usually caused by one of two other sensors. Try replacing the Oxygen sensor first and reset the computer and see if you still get the P0300 code afterward. If you do then you will have to have the Crank Position sensor and the Cam Position sensor tested. Now, being a 1995 the P0300 code could be caused by the timing belt if it is worn and about to go out but you need to address the O2 Sensor issue first then see if the other code comes up again as it is common in that year for the O2 Sensor to fault and have a second or third code thrown at the same time that is essentially a ghost code as nothing is wrong in that area.
I replaced the serpentine belt
they may have given you the wrong belt. there is one for air conditioning, and the shorter one for no a/c. if you have the right belt. retrace to see if you goofed up! or is your tensioner for the belt bad. good-day! if it pushes on belt and belt is tight, its ok!
NO codes, plugs, wires, exhaust,
This is a common problem in early ECM cars. ECM is Electronic Control Module car. The ECM is a common problem and is a sealed unit. If this is not the problem and some 1995 car models didn't switch over - you will still have a PC unit. Many mechanics call this the Brain Box. These computers will often go bad after 15 years or so.
BEFORE doing the above - please have your alternator checked for high side voltage. What this does is eliminate the problem of your alternator putting out full voltage at low RPM but not on the 'high side' at a sustained faster RPM, causing the problem. Also in the mix is the Throttle position sensor. This unit can cause a myriad of problems if not working properly or set properly.
Once last note - please read up on Pontiac having problems with the MAF sensor not reading right after the car comes to temperature. These have often been recalled so take down the VIN # - call the local dealer with the best reputation of helping customers and ask about RECALLS and SERVICE BULLETINS for your car.
Best of it

Try removing the negative battery cable and charging the battery full. Then hook it back up and wait 10 minutes or so. If this fails try having the key checked as these keys have a chip in them and the chip can stop working. Most high end Key shops can make you a new Key if that is the problem.
What o rings go on
the o-rings are metal gaskets with rubber inset that go around the a/c line.
Just replaced engine in 1995
need to pull the balancer off and check the crankshaft sensor for damage. sounds like the fins on the balancer may have gotten bent a little and rubbed through the sensor.
